Ezekiel is a furry, and other oddities.
The positive: The app is free. It is also quite entertaining - not in the way it intends, but because many of the questions are just SO wrong that it’s impossible not to laugh.
Questions as bizarre as:
* What is the name of the fan-favorite character known for his love of wearing a tiger-themed costume? (Answer: Ezekiel. YEP, apparently Ezekiel is a furry.)
* In season 2, what does Carol Peletier use to practice her surgical skills? (Answer: a chicken!!??)
* What is the name of the supermarket where Rick Grimes' group encounters a group of survivors led by Morales in season 1? (Answer: Grady's Supermarket)
* What item does Carl Grimes famously receive as a gift from a stranger in season 1? (Answer: A sheriff's hat, really??!!!!)
* Which character leads the group of cannibals at Grady Memorial Hospital, where they demand payment for medical services and keep survivors captive? (Answer: Dawn Lerner, but does it even matter, given the extreme wrongness of what actually happened?)
This is just a sample; there are plenty more blatantly wrong or nonsensical questions.
The negative: As detailed above, the main problem with the app is that it completely fails at its main purpose - TWD trivia. The questions and answers are so unreliable that it’s hard to trust even the valid ones, rendering scores meaningless.
Additionally:
* The app is filled with ads, unsurprisingly for a free app.
* The look of the app is extremely low quality.
* There are very few questions and they don’t reset or refresh.
* Attention to detail is nonexistent. Example: sometimes an answer appears twice on the same multiple choice question.
These things wouldn’t matter at all, however, if the trivia were solid. All in all, I was definitely entertained, but only in reaction to the app’s failure. I would personally be embarrassed if I were the creator of this app. I truly can’t believe this level of (in)accuracy made it all the way to a live app. I have to wonder if it is a product of AI.
