Battery usage + got me a ticket
The app used 50% of my phone battery through background refreshes in 4 hours. That is absolutely ridiculous. On top of that after I put in my parking permit and went to a lot that IT TOOK ME TO, I got a ticket because I didn’t have the right permit for the lot. Not using this app until it’s fixed.Developer Response
Dear Brian, We are sorry to hear about your experience with ParkUSC. Regarding battery consumption, we are working on an app update to minimize the effect, as it shoudn't be the case based on our testing. Regarding the parking permit, your permit selection and available permit areas is provided to us by the University Parking Services, so if you got a ticket in an area that was indicated as available based on your permit, please let us know the details and we will work with the USC Parking Team to address them. We hope to have you back soon!No parking passes
The app does not allow paid parking stickers to be identified and appropriate lots to be identified. Faculty and staff must pay for parking that is unavailable.Developer Response
Dear Staffuly, Thank you for your feedback. ParkUSC is not meant to provide paid campus options for visitor parking. Only permit parking areas are highlighted based on the permit type you can select under your parking profile. The mobile application aims to provide you with information on where it is most likely to find parking based on your permit, provided that the permit is set correctly. We hope that clears any confusion. Thank you for your patience!Very easy to navigate
It was easy to understand and I found my way to where I was able to park without any hassle!
