**Rules for a single die:**
1. The team that rolls the dice first is determined randomly.
2. Roll a 6 to move a pawn out of its base.
3. Roll a 6, eliminate a rival pawn, or move a pawn to the last square during your turn to get an extra roll.
4. When multiple pawns of the same team occupy the same square, they merge to form a larger entity.
5. Colored or gray squares are safe zones.
6. If a pawn's destination is a dangerous square occupied by an opponent's pawn, a battle is triggered: the attacker of equal size kills the defender; the larger defender eliminates the attacker.
7. If your attacker is eliminated by a defender and you have an extra throw, the extra throw is canceled.
8. Eliminated pawns resurrect and return to their base.
9. To advance to the final square, the die must be rolled with an exact value.
10. The first three teams to bring four pawns to the last triangle respectively win a gold, silver, and bronze trophy.
**Rules for two dice:**
1. The team that rolls the dice first is determined randomly.
2. Roll a double to move a pawn out of its base.
3. Roll a double, eliminate a rival pawn, or move a pawn to the last square during your turn to get an extra roll.
4. A pawn can only move once per turn.
5. When multiple pawns of the same team occupy the same square, they merge to form a larger entity.
6. Colored or gray squares are safe zones.
7. If a pawn's destination is a dangerous square occupied by an opponent's pawn, a battle is triggered: the attacker of equal size kills the defender; the larger defender eliminates the attacker.
8. If your attacker is eliminated by a defender and you have an extra throw, the extra throw is canceled.
9. Eliminated pawns resurrect and return to their base.
10. To advance to the final square, the dice must display identical values.
11. The first three teams to bring four pawns to the last triangle respectively win a gold, silver, and bronze trophy.
The game of Ludo is a board game for 2 to 4 players. Each player controls a set of pieces that they must move around the board based on the results of rolled dice. The movements of the pieces are determined by the results of the dice rolls. Players must obtain specific values to move their pieces out of the starting area and advance them around the board.
The main objective is to be the first to move all of one's pieces from the starting point to the finish line.
It's a classic board game that may also be known by different names or variants depending on the regions of the world (Parcheesi, Mensch ärgere Dich nicht, Sorry!, Trouble, Uckers, Barjis, Chaupar, Ki-o-rahi, Petits Chevaux, Course Soavaly, etc).
