The app allows setting an immediate surveillance solution with your device.
The app assumes the user, after a fast set-up phase in which the target of the observation is defined, leaves the smartphone not physically managed, letting it operating without any form of user commands.
It performs video capturing and stores recordings locally in the form of collection of frames that can be viewed by a powerful internal viewer.
A sensitive and stable motion detection activity applies to any capture-format provided by the camera hardware and the area under processing can be narrowed by the two-fingers gesture.
Motion detection drives the recording activity and/or the sound emission that can occur every time the app detects motion in a pre-existing idle scenarios or continuously during motion.
Available settings let the device be tuned to perform as long as possible, saving power consumption and managing recordings as needed.
Frame collection can feed the generation of mp4 files to be exported externally by the OS sharing feature and single frames can be exported as jpg files.
Shortly the life cycle of the camera data can be described here as follows:
when the user touches the 'Start' button and no option on the main panel is selected the output of the camera is simply presented on the screen behind the transparent user interface.
However if 'Sound on motion' is selected camera frames are processed to detect motion and each time this is detected a sound is emitted.
Furthermore if 'Recording' is selected the camera frames are saved in the private storage area of the app and can be seen (or deleted) by the user by touching (after 'Stop') the 'Open' button located under the 'Files' strip and touching first the 'frames' folder' and then the item named like the date-time of the recording start.
