We completely understand your concerns about the daily message limit. Our goal is to offer a safe, fun, and educational experience for kids, and to achieve this, ChatKids is powered by some of the best AI technology available, including GPT-4 and DALL·E, which do come with significant costs on our end. To ensure we can continue providing high-quality and age-appropriate content, we’ve set up these limits. However, this month, we are offering 10 free GPT-4 messages and 3 free DALL·E image creations every day to all users. These free daily rights change each month to give everyone access to our tools without a subscription. We also strive to keep our subscription plans as affordable as possible, with options starting as low as $4.99, which is much lower compared to other AI apps. In our next update, we’re adding new feedback and report features. We encourage you to use these to share your thoughts and help us improve—your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. While we don’t have live AI voice chat just yet, it’s something we’re actively working on and hope to introduce in the future. In the meantime, I wanted to let you know that in ChatKids app, there is a microphone button on your keyboard that allows you to speak and have your words typed out into the chat. Additionally, with our recent update (version 1.3.0), you can now listen to the responses using the audio response icon next to every chat message. This lets you hear replies in your language, providing a more interactive experience. In our next update, we’re also adding feedback and report features. Great but added ChatKids PIN Restrictions?
One question / potential concern: is it possible to require some sort of parental email approval or otherwise for resettting the PIN? As it stands you appear to be able to hit “forgot PIN” and reset the app without any parental intervention, which then allows access to the unrestricted parent mode.
Anything you can advise to block this or to require a parental approval (e.g. parent has to hit approve in an email sent to their account) would be really appreciated.

We completely understand the need for stronger parental controls, especially when it comes to resetting the PIN. Your privacy and safety are our top priorities, which is why we’ve intentionally designed the app to avoid collecting any personal information, including email addresses. However, we recognize the importance of ensuring that parental controls are robust. We’re currently working on an update that will make the PIN reset process more secure, making it harder to bypass without parental intervention. While we won’t be requiring emails, rest assured that we’re committed to keeping your child’s experience safe and age-appropriate.
