Leveling up
It’s a good game had potential to be an amazing game . But my main complaint is the leveling up and the amount of the item drops . Leveling up is a pain takes way to long and the amount of meat/heart drops is low. Second area Janes trailer the monsters are OP and that’s with a ton leveling up attack. If it’s improved I’ll definitely change the review for now definitely a 2 star .Show lessAlohaMickey

I did enjoy myself. I definitely watched a few adds to expedite my experience a bit. Grinding out the level milestones wasn’t too bad. Doing laps for gems is the only way to unlock more skills slots and your farm upgrades. This is a lengthy process. Of course you could always pay a few bucks.
They have some under development areas. It’s not clear how these will be implemented and balanced with Act 1. It seems the Act 1 experience may change if these other elements are added in.
The combat is pretty basic, you can have up to three skills (with upgrade). The skills are pretty vanilla. I found the berserk, frost nova, and shield to be the best.
The dialog is ok. I feel like the F bomb was used a bit too liberally. Story is ok. The daughter thing is eh. The protagonist doesn’t seem to be driven by the sense of urgency you would expect from losing your daughter. Of course doing tasks for other characters becomes more important than a missing child. Oh well it’s a game.
I am anxiously awaiting Act 2. They have their work cut out for them. A rehashing of Act 1 mechanics will not be successful. They are definitely going to have to step it up for Act 2.Show lessMetacast

Overall it’s a great game. But it takes a long time to get meat in order to gain more powers or level up stuff. Also I think that it unnecessary to make someone wait to get to a certain level in order to do something. Other than that I have no complaints. The game has a great storyline that makes you wanna play more. It’s thrilling

Forcing you to choose one character limits the enjoyment of the game, I don’t want to be some Neanderthal with a daughter…..you’ve already lost my interest story wise…….you should be able to 1.choose the gender of your character male/female, and 2. Choose the appearance of said character, for a sandbox game where your stuck on one character path is pretty limiting and definitely destroys immersionShow lessClintdal

I think the game is very good. I think what it could use is maybe more story elements, but may be a bit of a few different customizable outfits just for a character I think that would be cool.
