  • Simple yet fun game

A nice guessing game where it prompts you asking where a city is located whether it’s in a country in Europe or a state in the United States etc. Then you put the flag in that location, and if it’s correct move on to the next level. It would be fun to play with family or friends too and see how well they do.
  • Nice and simple game

I don’t really understand the green flag and red flag at the end. I know I got New York dead on, yet it still drew a line as if I placed the flag somewhere else. I assume the very bottom point of the flag pole is where it’s pointing. But it moves my flag after I place it. I would prefer it to just draw a line to the correct place and tell me how far off I was with my guess. I think it could be improved with some gamification. Keep track of total off distance for a set of attempts and give a score. Maybe add different difficulties with less well known cities.
  • Fun, educational! (lifetime version)

I was able to get the lifetime version while it was free, so my review is only for the lifetime version- if you can get it at a reasonable price I would definitely recommend it as a family-friendly quiz style game- no ads, and a simple premise- put the flag where you think the city is located. If right/very close, a flag will be placed on the exact location while a chime sound is played. If you are wrong, keep guessing until you are right or if you give up you can press the lightning symbol in the right hand corner- it will reveal the answer. Watch where the sample flag is placed, then try for yourself until you get a green flag placed. It’s an easy game to just pick up whenever as a time-passer.
  • Misleading preview

I got the lifetime offer for City Guesser 2, but the description in the previews appear to apply to the Origional GeoGuesser app. This seems to name a city and let’s you look for it. No gaming aspect. No info about the cities, or unique sights. Maybe I’m missing something, but for now I get more from Google Maps and Google Earth.
