It's great!

Snappy and clean. Does exactly what you expect and doesn't get in your way. One of the only tracker style apps I've used that had actually helped keep up habits.

Response from developer

Thank you! Glad the app works for you!

Simple, elegant, exactly what I need

This is the habit tracker I needed! None of the overhead of these overly complicated trackers. Free version has good features. Canโ€™t wait to try the paid version!

Response from developer

Thank you! The only limitation of the free version is the number of boards you can create, and I plan to keep it this way for the near future. So if you're not tracking many things, there is no need to upgrade:)

Amazing simple tracker :)

This app really needs more downloads. Itโ€™s super easy and intuitive to use (especially when using the widget). Canโ€™t recommend this app enough!

Thank you for the support and kind words!

Embrace the power of grid view

My roommate showed me this to track my workouts. I absolutely love it.

The grid view is so simple. Andโ€ฆ powerful. You wont understand until you try it.

Consistency is the key to change. The grid holds you accountable because guess what? Your memory is trash. It will always lie to you, โ€œoh yeah, i work out regularly.โ€ When really, you only worked out the last couple days. Its called โ€œrecency bias.โ€

Numbers don't lie. Neither does the grid.

My favorite is you can do it all from the widget. So my workouts are front and center, without opening the app.

And the animation you get from checking in is a perfect little dopamine hit.

Thank for this great review! I can only agree with what you said about recency bias and loosing sight of things when not actually tracking your progress. Human brain, while amazing, will still look for a path of the least resistance when left unchecked.

Love it!

Super nice and easy to use! Have just one question: could we maybe get a space to leave notes under each check in? Iโ€™m using it to track my music production and Iโ€™d like to write down how the session went. Just an idea! Will defo keep on using it regardless!

Response from developer

Thank you! Notes for check-ins are on the roadmap :) Will try to get to this as soon as I tackle a few table-stakes features (like reminders). I need notes myself to use the app as a journal. There will also be attachments and an option to lock boards with FaceID.

One of the best Habit Trackers on the App Store

I love how simple and clean Checker is compared to other habit trackers. I love how seamlessly it integrates with iOS from the Widget to the Siri Shortcuts. And itโ€™s just a one time payment of $10 for the premium features in comparison to other habit trackers that are subscription based. Canโ€™t wait for more features to arrive.

Hope Check In reminders are coming soon!

The perfect habit tracker

I have been using this app since launch, experienced no bugs and enjoyed how minimal and simple it is to use. The widgets work great, and the developer seems to be very active when it comes to adding new features regularly. Thanks!

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words! Feel free to reach out if you have any comments/suggestions, there are ways to contact me in the app's settings.

Stellar! Works for me where other apps donโ€™t

I love this app. Perhaps it is because Iโ€™m a developer myself but the GitHub like tracking just works so nicely for me! Clean, simple. Excellent work!

Perhaps reminders to check in would be helpful? I use it to track whether I have taken medication for example and an 8am nudge would be lovely.

Response from developer

Thank you! Really glad it works for you. Reminders are on the list:) will try to add them in the next couple of updates.

Simple and great

This app scratches just the right itch for lightweight generic habit tracking. Iโ€™m using it to track things like daily dessert consumption, cycling miles, and how often I remember to lift weights. As a SWE the github-style charts are appealing. The dev took feedback from me on Reddit and released my requested feature within a couple of weeks. Itโ€™s simple and great, thanks!

Thank you! Great idea about tracking sugar btw, I need to start doing this as well!

Checker: The Perfect Habit Tracker

Checker is a simple, intuitive, and beautiful habit tracking app. There's no extra fluff or dark design patterns, making this the perfect habit tracking/forming app for me.

I am a programmer by trade, and I love the GitHub commit tracking board. I've always wanted a similar iOS board tracking app but couldnโ€™t find one that clicked. Checker clicked immediately. The widgets are incredible and work seamlessly on macOS, and the in-app UI is intuitive and cleanly designed.

I use Checker to track my hobbies, exercise, and mental health activities (like meditation).

Lastly, Checker is designed by a passionate, thoughtful, and skilled developer. The app is still new and has a few quirks, but it's actively being enhanced and improved.
