What I liked and disliked
Disliked
Rough graphics
No way to check your Soulrons’ type/element or stats, making it hard to tell if leveling up even increases stats
No way to tell what a Soulron’s moves do until you use them
Some Soulrons (like Meowning) have no damage-dealing moves
Glitches, glitches, glitches (selecting the girl avatar but still being forced to play as the boy; Soulrons randomly floating around the battle screen after using certain moves)
Uninspired level design
Liked
Some charming character designs
The monster-battler formula is pretty dang fun (you have to make a conscious effort to mess this up)
Overall, this game feels like it’s a work in progress. I hope the developer will continue to work on it because I think it has potential.Developer Response
