Horrible App!!!
Not all that I signed up for
The shot record is nice, but that is not all I signed up for when I purchased this app. I thought there was food logging and meal plan information now I don’t see that anywhere not going to pay for half of what I originally thought I was getting.
Buggy
Continually get errors when attempting to enter shot. Unable to leave feedback on website.
Not great so far
No way of putting weight in and saving it - I want metric and it keeps going back to pounds I can’t get past that - then when I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it wants me to lay all over again
App PIVOT ignores existing customers usage
I subscribed to GALA because it was marketed as a nutrition-focused app designed to help users make healthier choices, plan meals, and improve their overall wellness. At $79.99 per year, I was happy to invest in a tool that promised to support my nutritional goals.
Unfortunately, the app has since undergone a drastic pivot. It is now a GLP-1 tracker and seems to have completely abandoned its original focus on nutrition. This change was made without proper communication or consideration for the needs of existing users.
If you’re not using GLP-1 medications, the app offers little to no value now. Features that were once central to its appeal—like calorie tracking, along with recommended daily protein, carbs and fats tracking, are either gone or ignored.
As a paying subscriber, I feel misled. I signed up for a nutrition app, but what I have now is something entirely different and irrelevant to my needs. GALA’s failure to deliver on its original promise, or even give users the option to opt out or be refunded, is deeply disappointing.
I would not recommend this app unless you’re specifically looking for a GLP-1 tracking tool. For those who want a genuine nutrition-focused app, look elsewhere.

Waste of money
No way to update weight. Allows you to input but no save option and have to crash out of app to exit.
