  • Route feature is a game changer

This app is a must-have for the Minnesota State Fair!

The app will calculate a route to a chosen vendor or building, complete with the moving blue dot with compass/current direction. The routes themselves are very efficient and what a real person who was extremely familiar with the fairgrounds would do.

If the developer, Daniel, can add multiple stops to the route feature, I will go to the fair extra times just to use this app 😃
  • Great idea! One idea…

This is the best app ever. As someone who only gets to the fair once a year and is overwhelmed by trying to navigate how large it is this is a game changer. We loved this and it made it sooooo easy to see what was near us on our wish list.

One idea… we all hear about how everyone rates the food sooo why not implement this into the app! A rating system would be soooo fun and helpful. Could even through a cute theme to the ratings (instead of 5/5 stars you could do 5/5 corn dogs, corn cobs, MN on a sticks, etc to theme it up). This way the fair goers can share their thoughts and maybe even some photos. This would also add the option to have a “best rated” category.
  • Best Fair App

I found this app from a Reddit post, thought I’d give it a try. It turned out to be one of the best fair resources ever. The fact that all the data is downloaded to the app made all the difference because once you’re there you have virtually no service. Everything in the app is searchable, has a ton of information on each place, booth, exhibit, etc. and maps out a route for you to get there. The official State Fair app, which coincidentally released this year, was subpar in comparison and I was so glad to have found this. I am excited to see how it develops for the 2025 Fair. Thanks for making this app, and for making it free to the public.
