  • Makes a $475 machine worthless

    Flat out - The app is absolutely HORRIBLE.

    Got my BARSYS 360 and anxiously set up my bar with all my liquor. This was a HUGE problem because nothing is listed alphabetically. A Jameson 750ml bottle is different than a Jameson or a Jameson 1.75l bottle so when you try to create a recipe, you MUST choose the variant you chose when adding that particular liquor.

    If you walk out of the room and the Bluetooth connection drops, you have to reconnect next to the device again EVERY single time you want a drink. Going through this process is tedious and you could have poured your 2 ingredients by the time you connect and choose your recipe and click start. I ended up buying an iPad to keep in the room the device is in and it STILL crashes and loses connection constantly.

    Oh, and reconnecting only works occasionally because if the app crashes (which it does constantly) half the time it restarts and you go back through connecting the Bluetooth connection your saved recipes will have disappeared and you have to start all over again creating your 3 ingredient Martini or Margarita, etc. Another time you’ll start the app and ALL your recipes will be back…but of course since you’ve created the recipe you’re wanting several times, you now have many duplicates.

    Support is non-existent. They won’t get back with you. Until this app is improved I STRONGLY recommend saving your money…don’t buy the BARSYS 360. All it does is take up space on your counter.

  • Good concept, Poorly executed

    Nothing on the app seems to work i cant save custom recipes it constantly freezes and crashes i love the idea but the app definitely need a major bug fix and overhaul
    I think they should have more mocktail recipes aswell!
  • App does not work

    I agree with the last review, upgraded to the new coaster and the. Upgraded to the new app and nothing works. Can’t add your bar, recipes are there one day not there on others. Freezes a lot it’s frustrating. It would be great if the app works like it should. Barsys should test for all bugs before they release. I’m disappointed it was not cheap.

  • My Coaster Sits in a Drawer Because the App Rarely Works

    I have had a coaster for three years. I was an early adopter of the 2.0 coaster. Both apps have been a mess every time I try to use them. The latest app won’t even let me open cocktail recipes. The coaster just sits in a drawer, because I don’t wanna go through the frustration of trying to get the app to work. After 30 minutes of trying to get the app to work I’m just gonna make my own cocktail. If they want to work they need to fix the app.
