Loved the original, buggy re-release
I played the original Castle Doombad more than most games by a long shot. The re-release is still really fun but it’s a buggy mess. I’d say 20% of the time I can’t finish a mission because of enemies stuck in a wall or some other glitch. The fourth mission of the beach chapter straight up glitches every time. Doomkins bug out on floor traps, enemies get frozen in random spots, and more random glitches. I rated it high because I’m really glad the game is back, but wow please fix the bugs.

A glitch but I love the game still
Love the game but on the 3rd level in the vacation house you can’t actually kill the last people which are Nina’s stuck in the water
Not bad
A very impressive game! I used to play it on Tesla, and it was great. However, there’s a bug on the iPhone 16 Pro Max — the screen freezes and becomes unresponsive every time I upgrade, such as starting the final wave.
Amazing game
I played this game a lot when I was younger and I forgot it existed then remembered it. Turns out it was not out anymore. So to see it in my App Store made me get the biggest smile on my face. I’m so glad it’s back.
So fun. So addictive
I’ve been playing this game on the Tesla arcade for such a long time now. I’ve always loved it and I’m so happy there is a phone version now so I can play anywhere at any time. The phone version definitely has more options, traps, levels and a few glitches with it just coming out. But overall such an amazing game!

Great game but found big bug
Played and beat all of original release cant wait to play through this!
I did however find a game breaking bug.
If you delete a scream generator right when it shocks an enemy it perma traps them in the shock animation. This trick can be used to perma stun lock a last enemy and farm inf screams. Or If said enemy is partially through a doorway then most traps and minions cant target them, ceiling traps work which could lead to a soft lock situation if you dont have a ceiling trap in your lineup.

iPad issues
Good game. On the iPad the screen does not always show the sides of the castle. Not knowing which side the hero’s are coming. Buttons on the bottom are too close to the 1st level, interfering with the placement.
Fun Game when it Works
Giving this 4 stars because when working correctly it is a pretty good mobile game. Right now, there is a bug where touch just doesn’t want to work. I’m sure they will fix it, but I couldn’t reach out to app support because it went to their company site instead of support. Would like to see a vertical version of the game so I could play one handed.

My favorite in my childhood
I actually don't like the lifebar upon the enemy, seems quite cheap, should have an option to show it or not.
