Attention gamers: I just wanted to inform you that there is a new release. Since the sort filter doesn’t work properly on the App Store, you should know that Friendly Fox has released a Mad Head game. Just type in Fright Chasers: Thrills and it will pop up. I wish the App Store would fix this issue already, but they never seem to do so, despite my complaints. In addition, there is an iOS update.
On to the game. I didn’t like it at first, and the storyline was confusing. The graphics were extremely dark, and the plot was a tad dull. It was a brief game. At times it froze and had to be reloaded. There was a problem with a lack of touchscreen sensitivity which prevented the player from being able to manipulate certain mini-games, such as the one where you must return objects to their correct places. Also, I have repeatedly instructed Elephant NOT to put exclamation marks on the map UNLESS there is actually an available action, and not just an objective. They refuse to listen! It makes for more running around, looking for something to accomplish. The only things that I enjoyed were some of the more interesting HO scenes, which had a decent variety, and the generalized addictive nature of the gameplay. As the game progressed, it did improve. For the aforementioned reasons, my rating will be 3.5 stars.
Note to Elephant: you had better heed my advice! If not I will happily block your revenues. I can be your best advocate or your worst nightmare. Do not put exclamation points on the teleport map UNLESS there is an available action! Oh, by the way, all of the other developers give me coupon codes to unlock their games. I give you extremely helpful advice and have incurred a ton of revenue for you for years now! Once in a while you could email me a coupon code for a free game unlock. I always rate fairly but my time is valuable, I monitor quality assurance, I run a review team, and I help the developers to improve their games. In addition, I try to ensure the most favorable gaming experience for the players. It’s a lot of work, and without me there would be no HOAG genre on iOS, after the departure of Big Fish in 2018. So the next time you release a game, you might want to send me a coupon code as a sign of appreciation for all of the hard work I do, unpaid!
When I have insisted you fix issues, you do so willingly, and thus make a lot more money on your games. Remember when I told you that inventory MUST be labeled, in your Halloween game? The players hated it, until I intervened. You fixed it and profited from my advice. I received no thanks or appreciation whatsoever. Nothing!
I can boost or block revenue. The players trust what I say. So the next time you release a game, why not send me an unlock code for all the money I have made for you since the departure of BigFish 6 years ago, and all the help I’ve given you with quality assurance? If not, I will not do anything else for you. Remember, I do this on my own without being paid. A tiny little code for a $6.99 game isn’t going to put a dent in your revenues. I’m a senior citizen and money is very tight! The work I do is also quite exhausting. The other developers value me greatly, and it would be nice for you to do so as well.
In your response, ensure that your support person asks for my email address. If you send me a code to unlock your next game, just know I will continue to work hard to boost your revenue. Thank you!
