  • Decent game but the first 2 were better

On its own this game is pretty decent as its gameplay and graphics are simple enough but very enjoyable at the same time. The thing that lets it down is you use energy every mission and all guns/parts are quite expensive. To finish it you would prob have to put money into the game, as the money you receive from missions isn't enough to keep you going at a steady pace through the game

  • Good game but....

As much as I like this game and enjoy the newer and intuitive aspects that the dev has added, I find the game's design to be heavily in favor for the developer. The microtransactions aren't that big of a deal here, but it's the level progression that gets you. I'm on the third area and literally cannot do any of this missions because I don't have the proper upgrades. I can't do missions to get money to upgrade, so I have to either rely on doing random jobs or petty crimes to get a small amount of money and the random supply crate that comes in every few hours. As cool as this game is, I find it absolutely unbearable how little the dev though about his consumers in this regard.

  • Short lived

This game is fun for a short time, once you realize it takes to long to earn money, it loses its fun factor. If you try to speed up the process of accumulating money by doing a crime mission like theft, you will get caught and it will lock you out of the game and you can not accomplish anything. The success percentages listed on the crimes are misleading, in the simple pick pocket crime has an 80% success rate, and I was caught 4 out of 10 tries. Also you pretty much have to max out your gun on mods to accurately hit your targets, if not your aiming way up in the corner and guessing, just hoping you hit your mark.

  • Disappointed Fan

While the other two games were fun, the third installment will try its hardest to prevent you from having any sort of fun. The energy system ensures that you won't be able to play for more than five minutes at a time. You do not get enough money to upgrade your weapon to the level the game expects it to be, and the other two guns are not at all a factor. If you want any of the main currency, your options are to either watch an animation (which is an eight second loop) for a couple minutes at a time, or you can watch a ten second animation which might not even give you any money. The only worthwhile crime to commit is the ruby heist, which has an eighty percent chance of preventing you from doing anything at all for TWO HOURS. With the energy and the "laying low" mechanics, it seems like the devs were trying to make you stop playing the game. If I had to fix the game, I would make everything cost less energy and instead of "laying low" you should have to pay a bail. This game has so much potential that was thrown away and replaced with micro transactions.

  • Energy Bar

This game series is very entertaining, and I loved going though the story in the last two games... That being said, I find the new energy bar EXTREMELY annoying. It will let you play 3-4 missions until you have to wait of the bar to refill. This keeps you from actually playing the game, and instead has you play is for about 10 minutes, makes you wait apx 20 minutes, then let's you play another 10. Please get rid of the energy bar, the game would be so much better without it.

  • Its Fun For Awhile

I had alot of fun..... for awhile. But I hate the energy system it doesn't make amy sense! Thats not how things should work! I go over somewhere shoot someone and then get up and leave and somehow I lost a ton of energy? I barley used any! And don't say it's because it's just so intense and on his toes that he gets a huge burst of energy and then later loses it because he does this for a living its not like it's his first time every time. He barley did any work it should take almost no energy. So get rid of that. And also I want more story than just a cut scene here and there. And my final complaint is how certain levels require certain guns or attachments so you have to go back and start all the way over but somehow keep the coins and do this multiple times to get the gun required. This is always a TERRIBLE way to make a game! Back tracking REPEATEDLY makes a game bland, repetitive, and seem like a ploy to get money! Another reason it is just an awful idea is because it takes away ANY replay ability. Also the things that can be done at home seem pretty empty. You have to enter the house and then go through 2 doors with a loading screen each to get to the only place that you can really do anything. Most of the rooms have no point at all.

  • Massive game ending glitch

You get to a certain point, the game repeatedly takes your coins back to a previous save point. There is nothing you can do to get past this. Then if this is not bad enough you can also get stuck in a continual loop of writing a review, then getting stuck with the question about writing a review on yr screen. What a let down

  • Played this before the first two

Great little sniper game, I was hooked! So, of course, I just had to play the first two. I love that there's a storyline and how you can buy upgrade. Plus side things that can get you more money. This game was entertaining, amusing, and light - in the sense that, you can pick up or drop the game whenever, to rest your eyes or whatever. I'm not sure if they are, but I hope they make a 4th installment.

  • Overall good

Pretty good game, but it doesn't tell you that you need more power in your gun until it's too late. Now I have to use the fight club, and side missions to gain money none stop for about an hour just to get half way.

Edit: Now the game scammed me. I payed $2.50 for 15 credits so I could pay off my "lay low" status but the game froze, and when I reopened it I had no credits again.

  • Disappointing Freemium Game

I was a huge fan of the previous installments of this series, so I was looking forward to "part three". Unfortunately the makers of this game fell deep into the abyss of the "freemium" platform on this one.
First off, you have "special missions" which can only be accessed by redeeming tokens. In most "freemium" style games you earn these tokens throughout the course of normal gameplay (albeit at a slowish rate) and are presented with the option to buy them in bulk. CV3 does both of thise things however the rate at which tokens are earned (ie. obtained freely) is laughably slow.
On top of that, once you spend the tokens to "unlock" the special missions they don't actually "unlock". You have to spend credits EVERY time you want to replay the mission.
The gameplay is mostly on par with the prior games but it is tainted by the notion that the developers expect you to spend money constantly to truly enjoy all aspects of the game.
Two stars from me and it was honestly hard to give it that.
