How low can you go
WDIV is at it again...going lower than low with the new update...now forcing Ads!! Really? Why? So WDIV can make money?
No one watches the lowlife ads. I immediately close the app and go to another as the other locals don't do it on their apps. Layout is congested, not as user-friendly and news is so often mis-reported or delayed (ex: person hurt versus person actually died), and the auto player...ugh...don't get me started...hate it!

What happened?
I am very disappointed with the new app. The old app was very reliable and consistent. Had much better graphics. It was much more user-friendly. However the new app I find difficult to use. The radar is totally different and not accurate. Please rethink your move.
Stop forcing the video player on us!
I’ve been using this app for nearly a decade. Forcing the video player in the app is annoying and cumbersome. I always close the player-if I want to watch the news, I’ll watch live on my peacock account. If I’m listening to music, it forces stops it playing-even if I immediately close the player. It’s annoying. I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds this to be the case.

New format
Don’t like it at all. I want be able to check weather conditions in some other cities where my family lives.
Also won’t allow me to use the horizontal screen on my iPad.😡

KILL the Stream!!!
Hate the stupid Live Stream at the top of the home page, takes up half the dang page, plays automatically & immediately cuts off anything else you're already watching or have playing on your device. Get rid of it!!! Read the reviews! If we want to watch it - we'll find it!
Doesn’t work
I’m never able to watch live feed. And or video.
Every time no matter the time of day. It says updated 1 minute ago. On every video under live.
And when I go to click on it nothing happens.
It’s mostly ads if anything. And I didn’t come here to watch ads. I came here to watch the news.
If it’s just ads then the app is pointless and shouldn’t be in the App Store. Anyway nothing works in the video part.

Fix the notifications bug
I enjoy the app but I have an issue with the notifications. I will get a news alert and when I click on it, the app takes me to a general window about Click on Detroit instead of the article suggestion in the news alert. This happens all the time.
Your basic liberal news outlet
While this app is a source for interesting local events, their news coverage is grossly bias. Even when there are outrageous things to report about with the current Gov. Whitmer administration, you will only find radio silence coming from Click on Detroit. They seem to have an obsession with Trump & the 2020 election and find a way to link that in most political articles with Republican candidates. Their coverage of all Democratic ballot proposals and candidates had the sheen of high gloss, while the Republican candidates had a flat matte finish:) It seems that they might be attempting to tidy up their reporting as of late, but I won’t get my hopes up.

Appreciate WDIV very much …
I appreciate WDIV very much. Proud Detroiter living in Hawaii and follow closely. Love that they are still located downtown. And they are involved in Detroit events and say nice things about Detroit.
Have not forgotten many at WDIV were very supportive of my Emily Detroit Runs in the 1970’s-80’s. At the time I was so proud and honored to be featured in one of the WDIV Go for It! T-shirt commercials.
And Emily’s Across the Street was the headquarters for getting a WDIV Go for It! shirt.

Why is it, so much trouble to go to the above app? Once looking at weather, it won’t allow me to see anything, I have tried the weather app on it’s own, does not work, through click on Detroit, go to the weather it freezes????
