Forced ads

Welp, they’re putting ads even during a simple click and accept. I didn’t mind ads for resources, but adding ads during playing and making people purchase something to remove it is something not even the most popular games do. Uninstalling.

My game reset after a update

I have been playing g this game for over a month and half now and I seen there was an update and so I had updated it and my game completely reset from the beginning I’m very upset as I had spent a lot of time building. My village and unlocking the puzzles and I was soo far I had only 2 or 3 puzzles left and now I am left to restart again I really do t want to spend the time or money having to go threw all of that again

Lost progress/always breaking

So sad to be giving this game a one star review, but it is completely broken as you are unable to save any progress that you make because the game has no safe feature so when I got a new phone, I lost all my progress and wasted days of my life. When I contacted support about the issue, they inform me that they were unable to fix or get back my progress or compensate my account for the amount of lava stones I had accrued by watching dozens of videosand were unable to apply tech points, so I could at least unlock all the puzzles that I had gotten as I had finished the game.

The game also routinely has bugs that don’t get fixed for a really long time and the developers have no sort of compensation for the game breaking routinely like little rewards The only sort of reward the game has besides watching extremely long videos to get a minimal prize is a daily login reward which will occasionally bug and reset all your progress so you lose the accumulation of points

Thank you for your feedback! The early access version of the game doesn't have a backup and restore feature yet, but one will be coming in a future update!

Waste of time

Couldn’t play for 12 hours because I had a busy work day, and come back to find every villager dead except for 1. Could start again but why bother if every one can get sick and die within 1 day.

The reset promp said you would loose your purchases if you reset too, so glad I didn’t spent a cent.

You have plenty of options to prevent your village from dying! You can buy three villagers from the Marketplace - one adult male, one adult female and one child - for 250 Lavastones. You can also reincarnate individual villagers who have passed away; they'll return as children and will be able to produce children again once they reach adulthood. Finally, if your entire village passes away, you'll be offered the chance to revive them all, or select all new villagers.

Tech points

Needs a really high amount of tech points it’s kind of impossible to play, you have to just keep them researching and leave the game for a few days to even get enough tech points. And EVERYTHING requires tech points. You need about 100,000 to get u started off to be able to do anything…

Consistent Bugs

I really like the game so far but there has been a consistent bug where the items I craft disappear. The only way I can keep them from disappearing is if I keep the app open and running for the entire crafting time. For items that take more than 10 minutes this just isn't doable. I paid with gems to open an extra crafting spot and I can't even use it because all the items I craft are disappearing. This is making most of the tasks incredibly hard or just straight up not doable. Please fix this, I've been waiting for months for a fix on this bug.

Aging/Reproducing Issues

I think this game is very fun and I like the structure however I’ve run into a couple issues that I think should be tweaked. I progressed through the first 8 puzzles with not too much difficulty but my villagers aged very quickly. I went one or two days without playing and when I came back all 13ish of them had died, even the children. It let me revive 5 for free but all of them were at least 70+ and I wasn’t able to make them reproduce after many attempts. I assume there’s an age limit to when the women can have children. If this is the case I would appreciate if once they reach it it would say something like, “so-and-so thinks she is too old to have a baby.” Just to make it clear that they can’t have children. But anyways 3 of those 5 revived villagers died within one play session that day, and since they can’t reproduce I’m just having to wait until they die to move forward at all.

Tech Points

This game has so much potential to be great & it is, but the amount of tech points you have to accumulate is insane. After Level 1 it’s 100k plus points to upgrade Construction, Crafting etc & there’s essentially nothing else to do while you wait to accumulate enough. Even with 5 villagers on research you’d have to leave the app running to accumulate enough in maybe a day, as when the app is closed it only generates about 1/4 tech points vs what you’d get when the app is running.

I’ve played the other virtual villagers & virtual families games, and those games are nowhere near as greedy as this one in terms of F2P.

IN LOVE

First, I just wanna give a thanks to the people who made this and have been for years. The whole point of this game is a couple Of people sometimes kids are found on an island and they do not have any basic resources they all have to learn overtime and do research and practice and practice they make an actual flowing village as it advances over time just like in real life. Y’all all saying oh my gosh, it takes forever to progress. You have to buy stuff if you want to progress faster. No the whole point is to take your time and complete puzzles just like it would be in real life when caveman or whatever you believe started. I absolutely love this game and see the whole point of it. I know I’m wording this terribly, but I just hopped on over here to see everyone else’s opinion and I was disappointed. I think this game is awesome. And the graphics are way better. I appreciate the graphics before tho very nostalgic I’ve been playing these since they first came out. Can’t wait for the next one.

Most confusing game ever

How anyone works out how to play this game, what you have to do, or how to make anything happen, is a TOTAL mystery to me?! There are no instructions or guidance or anything! It’s just “hmm they need rope” WELL HOW DO U GET ROPE?! “Hmm the fire needs lit” WELL HOW DO U LIGHT THE FIRE?!
