This is malware

This app is malware. To create an account, it asked for my real name, phone number, and birthday, which I gave. Then it showed me my Facebook account, complete with email address, which I hadn’t given them, and asked if this was me. It said to click the button to send a confirmation code to my email address, and get back and give them that code. I clicked the button.

I checked my inbox to find an email, not from the app, but from Facebook, with a code to RESET MY FACEBOOK PASSWORD, which this app wanted me to give them. If I had done that, the app could have stolen my Facebook account, and then impersonated me to send some sort of scam spam to all my Facebook friends.

I deleted the app of course, but the app shouldn’t be on the App Store at all.

Thats is not how the app works. This app doesnt have a way for you to make an account at all. We only direct to facebook and other casting feeds. If you were redirected to facebook feeds and you click cancel or the x button and DONT have to log in. Do not enter any information, none of it is required to use the app. Ever!

Great app

Really useful for gigs and super happy with the new version. Wow. It’s been 8 years of castings with this baby. Thanks Castings. Made a huge difference to me.

Just NO

I was expecting a pooling of all castings jobs through out Atlanta and it only pulls from a few small companies. Technology is not great either.

This was a review of an older version of Casting ATL which was over 7 years old and buggy. We just released an update in December 2023 and are working on new features. The ads are on websites we link to, and unfortunately, not controlled by the app. Stranger Things 5 has begun casting for January 2024!

Terrible

I paid $2 to remove all adds.
This app doesn't work worth anything on iPhone 6 plus .
It freezes it goes blank .
It's simply showing casting pages from Facebook and not doing a good job of it at all.
I want my money back .
