Very useful
A colleague recomand me to get a sandglass to time myself on certain task.
I tried a few sandglass app and this one is the very best.
- This app is user friendly
- the first design is free.
- the designs are nice.
- I didn’t notice any adds.
- it reverse the time when you flip your phone like a real sandglass.
- you can set the time you want and you really see the sand flow.

Great,more wallpaper?
This app absolutely give me what i want, small number, realistic sand amimation. But I personally like wallpaper that is clean and simple, more Apple-like, I would pay for it if it has it, just the wallpaper, others are great!aluu12
Fun Hourglass
perfect lil program. change the time to whatever (including hours). has counter for both sides and flipping ipad reverses counters. fun animations. alarms and very versatile. i paid 1$ and that is the first dollar ive given an app. great job.pm39221
Great app
I went through all the hour glass / sand timers and this is the only developer who had implemented how a sand timer works. All the others were count down timers.
This app allows you to invert the timer which may mean you have more or less sand depending on when you inverted it.
I needed a sand timer for a game that I am playing and this works just wonderfully.
If I were to make any suggestions I would like the ability to set a couple other alerts to warn when sand is at 50 % or whatever value i set be it time or percent left. This is a wish list not a complaint which is why I gave this app a 5Show lessMr_Seebo
Practical & Delightful
I searched for an hourglass to set for meditation, and this was easily my pick because of the artwork. After using it, I bought all 4 additional skins in order to thank/support the author— then found the Kraken to be my favorite (for now).quoasyuotu
Perfect for me!
Though the graphics are bizarre, I love my timer. I use it for yin yoga practice where asanas are held for more than 3 minutes. Standard digital timers are a bit stressful for me for yoga practice, but real sand timers are not adjustable. Some poses I can hold for 5 minutes, others I can only hold for 1 minute. For a free app, it meets my needs. I only wish there were more backgrounds to choose from, but I understand people need to make money. Most of the time I'm not wearing my glasses, so I don't really see the mouse disappearing. I like that I can just flip my phone and the timer starts again, just like a real hourglass. And lastly, with no sound on, it doesn't interfere with Pandora, which is streaming my yoga station. Some of the other hourglass apps stopped it altogether. It's a win-win. Description looks great but you only get one free hour glass and you have to pay for the others individually. Deleted as soon as I opened it.Fun_time_gal
Best timer app available on the AppStore
What an awesome little app this is. The hourglass themes look awesome and the fact that you can change the time the hourglass counts is a very handy little feature. We use it all the time for things like board games etc. and while it does have a sound alert option for when time runs out, we like to leave that off just so we can watch the sand flow, for that extra bit of realism :)Show lessoxyscythe
