Description of PaidOff

PaidOff is a comprehensive debt tracking app designed to help users track and prioritize paying off their debts efficiently. With its intuitive and user-friendly interface, the app allows users to monitor their debts each month, simulate different payment strategies, and stay on top of their financial progress. Key features include: • Debt Tracking: Users can effortlessly track various types of debt, such as credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, and mortgages, all in one place. Each debt is visually represented with progress charts and payoff dates, giving users a clear understanding of where they stand financially. • Payment Simulation: The app allows users to simulate different debt repayment strategies to find the most effective plan. Whether focusing on the snowball method (paying off the smallest debts first) or the avalanche method (tackling high-interest debts), PaidOff helps users decide the best course of action based on their individual circumstances. • Amortization Schedule: PaidOff provides a detailed amortization schedule, breaking down monthly payments, showing interest versus principal, and offering a timeline for debt repayment. This helps users plan ahead and understand how their payments impact their overall balance. • Add Accounts Easily: Adding new debts is straightforward, with easy input fields for loan balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and other relevant details. This ensures users have all their debt information organized in one convenient app. • Progress Monitoring: PaidOff offers real-time insights into how payments reduce overall debt, helping users stay motivated on their journey to financial freedom. Visual graphs and detailed reports provide a clear view of how close users are to becoming debt-free. • Export to PDF: PaidOff allows individual exports of each account's amortization schedule after it has been calculated; airdrop, email, send it! With all these features, PaidOff is not just a debt tracker, but a powerful financial tool that helps users take control of their debts, make informed decisions, and stay on track toward financial independence.

  • No hassle App

App is as advertised. Pretty good for a free app. I chose this app specifically because it didn’t require connection to a bank or nor did it need any personal information to function.
There’s room for improvement but it’s not necessary.
-After finalizing the data inputted for the debt, the user is unable to edit/alter the name again. Found out very quickly after the second submission when I noticed I misspelled something.
-There’s not an option for customizing which debt you want to pay down first. Snowball, Avalanche and Mountain methods don’t work for everyone.

Thank you for the kind words! Amazing feedback as well. - I updated the account screen so you can change the name after creation :) - I added a new strategy called "Priority", this is more personal and you should be able to sort your accounts to which ones you want to pay first Hope this helps!
  • Great find

I found this while looking for a new financial app, I like this one because it’s geared more towards tracking debt which is what I was looking for actually. I love the graphs and information it shows me and it’s clear and easy to understand, there’s different strategies like snowball which I ended up using and it showed me how much interest I will save if I follow it. Looking forward to more updates from this developer.
