  • Well worth the price

I just beat the game and my playtime is around 4 and a half hours but it’s more likely even longer because of how many times I died the game feels a lot longer than I expected and I genuinely feel like I got what I paid for and more the sprites are really good the later spells are really cool I hope the devs add a new game + option to go back into the labyrinth or even a different (probably procedurally generated) labyrinths overall I’m astonished by the great quality and fun gameplay just remember to save often at first it was a little disorienting but it was pretty easy to get used to and once you do it’s no problem the game never feels to easy but the end did seem a bit abrupt maybe putting a boss at the end would help with that
  • Very fun, kinda hard to control at first tho

I not saying that the controls need to be changed, it’s just hard to get used to. Would love control support if possible
  • Great game

This game was an absolute blast! I finished it in about six hours and enjoyed every moment. As someone new to this genre, it was a great introduction and has me excited to explore more games like it. The puzzles, hidden secrets, and variety of enemies were all well-designed and made the experience even more enjoyable. The visuals and overall atmosphere were fantastic. Highly recommend!
  • Enjoyable but seems to have some glitches

Cannot use scrolls by clicking on them or attempting to insert them on grayed-out hat icon or anywhere else on the screen. Stuck at the laser puzzle on Level 2 where I’m supposed to “travel by air” given that the scroll doesn’t work, unless I want to use a bunch of health items. Cannot find a use for one of the hint notes I’ve found, which another reviewer still hasn’t used by Level 4.

There are no glitches! At the laser puzzle, you can use the slingshot or the wand to turn off the laser. You’ll have to find the spellbook before you can use the scrolls.
  • Not bad for what it is

Good for some I am sure, but not what I expected. It is essentially a rogue-like in the form of an old-school dungeon crawl. You will die often and have to load a save and keep trying till you get lucky. Some folks idea of fun; my idea of torture, lol.
  • Good fun

Nicely done dungeon crawler. Similar to Legend of Grimrock (including the menu music which definitely has a similar sound) but only one character instead of four (which can be good or bad depending on your preferences). On level four at this point, and not too difficult yet, but not a walk in the park either. Pretty balanced so far. Some hidden areas which is fun. Nice pixel art.
A couple issues though. I've found scrolls and have no idea how to use them. There's a wizard hat button that's grayed out, so I don't know what it does (maybe related to the scrolls?). A couple other items I'm not sure have any use - poop (funny though), mushrooms (which are useful in most other RPGs), and a note I think I found on the 2nd floor with arrows/chevrons on it (maybe for a puzzle I never found; or for one I haven't found yet, but odd the note would be so much earlier in the game if that's the case). And swiping for movement is too finicky - it seems the swipes have to be very short, which just feels awkward. Would be nice if you could hold down movement buttons for repeated movement (maybe after a brief pause to prevent accidental activation).
  • Great

Great game! However, I am kind of soft locked it seems, the inventory will not display unless I enable swipe controls and look around with a two-finger gesture. This displays the window, but I cannot interact with it. Reload does not help. Looks similar to some problems reported on the steam page. Anyway probably can’t continue, easy five stars if this gets fixed (iPad mini 5)

Sorry about the issue. I’m just wondering, are you using iPhone or iPad? I will try to replicate the bug when I’m back in Sweden next week.
  • Love letter to Dungeon Master

Back in 1987, Dungeon Master from FTL was released for the Atari ST, and I was instantly hooked. This game is a love letter to that classic and does it quite well. You traverse through dungeon mazes, fighting and avoiding monsters as you pick up spells, armor, food and potions in an attempt to find the Wizards Cat. Controls are easy to get used to and I don’t find myself dying quite as much as I did in the beginning. This game is fantastic!! Thanks to the devs for making it.

Thanks for the review. And yes! It is my love letter to Dungeon Master.
