AtRecess

AtRecess is a social media app that aims to bolster real-world connections and bring communities together. Users are organized by "Circles", which organize people based on how they're connected in real life. Circles could be for Family, Friends, Classrooms, Sports Teams, Gaming buddies, or any other type of community. Each circle acts like a directory to find people and contact them with our built-in messaging service. Each circle also has a feed for making posts, and a large group chat for discussion. Our primary demographic is parents and children, and our primary draw is our parental control features. Parents can limit their children's screen time, mirror their screen, be notified of AI-flagged messages, and track usage. The app also has a calendar feature, where parents or children can schedule events, and invite people to attend.
