$50 QR code generator

Looks Good. Overpriced.
The price is an insult to customer intelligence.
On top of that the “free” version is useless. QR codes can’t be saved. So it’s basically an ad.
fun ≠ value

Hi Theo, Thank you for this feedback. The app is still relatively new and I'm working through what the proper balance between pro and free should be. I admit, I did not get everything right on the first go. Within the next month, I expect to introduce more Pro and Free features and as the app becomes more complete I hope to provide a better balance that seems fair to all. Thank you for giving the app a try. Hope to exceed your expectations if you give it another go in the future. If you have any other thoughts or feedback, you can write me an email hello@qewie.app
A sad end to something promising.

Hi Dogcow, Developer here — Thank you for the fair and honest feedback. In earnest, my intent with pricing was not a money grab but I understand that it may have come off that way and for that I humbly apologize. When I researched how to price the product, I looked at all of the other QR code generators in the store and landed at a benchmark that was comparable to others. I felt that the free version far exceeded all of the other products and that appropriate "pro" features for businesses would be well worth the lifetime price. Your comment makes it clear that I didn't get it right and I'm sorry you had a poor experience. You may never give Qewie another try, and I understand why, but I hope you take my words above as sincere and genuine. It was never my intent to displease the users of Qewie. I'm still just figuring everything out. Have a great rest of your day. If you have any other thoughts or feedback, you can write me an email hello@qewie.app
Free no more!

Hi Bennlloyd, Thank you for the honest and direct feedback. I'm sorry that your experience ended so poorly. When pricing the product, I was steadfast that all of the existing features in the free version should remain free (As well as not having ads, tracking, or expired codes). When I introduced introduced a paid model, my intent was to keep it isolated to "pro" features that make sense for businesses like adding a logo, different QR code types, specific colors, and new export options. I didn't get it right and for that I apologize. I'm a solo-developer just trying to provide a living for myself and my family. I'll learn from your comment and do better. As for the IAP, I'm looking into why that is showing up. I apologize for the confusion. Have a great day. If you have any other thoughts or feedback, you can write me an email hello@qewie.app
