YOU ARE A MAD SCIENTIST In DOOMSDAY, you are a simple scientist with a simple dream - ruling the world, with the help of a giant laser cannon mounted on a spider-legged robot. Over the course of 15 levels, you'll need to defeat the pathetic fools standing between you and world domination, from teenage bullies to military commandos to forest witches to the mighty Kongclops. With your inventory of unique components and powerful artifacts, you’ll assemble the ultimate doomsday device and demolish everyone in your path. EXCITING CARD HIJINKS DOOMSDAY is a single-player card-slinging roguelike adventure that will feel familiar if you've ever played deck-building games like Magic: The Gathering, Slay The Spire, Balatro or Marvel Snap. You’ll find, however, that the gameplay is less dependent on combat, and more focused on synergy between your cards and artifacts as you build your superweapon from scratch again and again. The goal of each level is to gain enough points to overcome a powerful enemy in your path. Over the course of seven turns, you’ll play cards that increase your power - crazy component cards that become pieces of your doomsday device, or surprising action cards that can make those pieces stronger. Each enemy has a unique effect that can trip you up, and you'll need to make use of tactics that are chaotic, random, some might even say "mad"...but by optimizing your deck and learning the weaknesses of your enemies, you'll find a method in the madness on your way to victory. CRAFT THE ULTIMATE SUPERWEAPON Between levels, you'll have the chance to add and remove cards from your deck, obtain special artifacts, or even go exploring on a side quest. You can choose from over 150 cards and 100 artifacts to make your deck more powerful….and the more you play, the more cards and artifacts you’ll unlock with rare, game-breaking abilities. If you've never played strategy card games and find all this intimidating...don't worry, there's a tutorial mode that will walk you through the ins and outs of the game!
