Tested It on myself first

Before giving this app to my child, I decided to try it myself to see how it works. I set a 10-minute session for Instagram. When it ended, Instagram was blocked, and I thought, “Ok, I don’t need it so much.”
Then, when my hand automatically reached for Instagram again, I realized I would have to extend the session. I thought again “I’m ok now without it” and decided I would do it later.

It’s been a more than a week now, and I still haven’t opened Instagram.

I don’t know how long my teenager will keep using this app, but I’ve already seen for myself that it really works.

Love 1 minute pause button

Dad of three here, oldest is 17. Most "solutions" for social media feel like spying, which just pushes kids away.
I started using it myself and it genuinely made me catch my own mindless scrolling.

Then I gave it to my daughter. I can't see her data, and that's the whole point. I think she uses it because she wants to, not because I'm watching.

If you want a control app, this isn't it. Likely that's exactly why it works.
