Update negatively affects playing audio via podcasting app.
Devs: why does Strides now pause audio playing in another app? V17.1 is doing this and it takes away from my enjoyment using Strides, when I have to go to my podcast app to press play.
Response from developer
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry about that. We are working on a fix for this and it will be out in the next update. Thanks for your patience, and have a great day!
Flexible
I appreciate how flexible it is terms of the type of goal you can enter. For example i do intermittent fasting and i want to check it off each day but also tally up the total number of hours I fast (since if i do it a bit short some days i want to make it up later).
Also allows for habits you only want to do a certain number of days eg exercise 3 times a week.
I use the free version which has a limit on the number of habits you can track which is annoying but does force me to focus!

AMAZING! After trying many app, this was my top choice!
I track many different habits on a daily basis, so for me good app is really important.
I'm very particular and I literally downloaded and tried over two dozen habit tracking apps. This one is very well designed and has a lot of flexibility for tracking the different habits and routines that I want to implement.
I also really like the Apple Watch app and the Mac desktop app as well. Everything is seamlessly designed and syncs perfectly across the platforms. A bonus for me is using siri voice commands to log habits.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone who cares about tracking their habits!

[UPDATED] Previous version off-putting; now appears to be fixed.
A decent app, though perhaps not unique or capable enough to warrant a pricey premium subscription. A recent version featured a super-irritating, full-screen upgrade nag that killed the user experience. But now that the pop-up pester-fest appears to have ended β an unfortunate glitch maybe β I am happy to give Strides another chance. Benefit of doubt given, four stars is fair.

Great!
Iβve tried a lot of habit tracking apps and this is the only one that lets you track different kinds of habits in different ways: you can set some up to just log yes or no, others to keep track of how many minutes or hours per day you spent on that habit, and others to show how much progress youβve made toward a given target date. And the reports show different ways to clearly visualize your progress over time. Beautifully designed and Iβve found the developers helpful and responsive. If you want more than just a simple streak tracker, this one is well worth the money to support a quality product.

The Best PowerApp for Habits there is!!
I use Strides for more than 4 years and I can surely tell that my Life has improved since I use it. I was peaky on such apps and tried many habit apps but none of them are so intuitive and easy to use in my daily life. It's minimal but has a lot of features and options. I can Log a specific amount of pushups I did today - to collect a specific amount of pushups I have set to achieve per week, but at the same time I can log how many coffees I took - so the graph will stay green if I will take less coffee and more pushups. I love apps that provide Lifetime subscriptions as it already paid itself off a long time ago, as if I would buy monthly. Ok i love this app so much that i better stop praising as it will look like it's sponsored lol. A HabitTracker, a Timetracker & Tables is all I need to organise and achieve everything in this life - and Strides is 1 of it. π

So far so good
Actually this should probably be a 5 star review.
I started with Strides not really knowing how much influence it may have on making my days more productive for good habits, and accountable for the bad ones. But it most certainly has brought more awareness, and a greater desire to make more of my days βgreenβ in all areas I put my attention too.
Good work Strides. Iβm impressed.
Actually, yes.. 5 star for me.

Keeping me on Task
I am really enjoying being accountable to Strides. I am already forming new habits I wish Iβd had years ago. I gradually becoming more disciplined, focused and organised with each new habit I add to the list - This is the missing link in my productivity. Simply brilliant!
