  • Multidimensional polyphonic expression Support please

I like the filter implementation. I am happy but need MPE please.
  • Rabbit hole

Really rich sounds and fully customizable patches has made hours of fun with this app!
  • Love it

This is quickly becoming my favorite synth.
Rich sounds, bunches of great sounding presets, easy to create my own patches, intuitive layout, packed with features...I can't believe I went so long without it.
    Very recommended!
  • Solid

iSEM into a pair of blown-out studio monitirs turned all the way up and close mic'd into hardware tube pre-amp/compressor back into DAW, it sounds great.
  • One of the best

This is easily one of my top iOS synths. If you like old-school (Berlin school) style sounds, this delivers. Perfect for rippling sequences and dreamy pads. Interface is clear and it works fine for me with both audiobus and external sequencers. The best thing is that it has its own sound, quite rich and unique, especially noticeable when you have some modulation on it. Some of the patches were a bit too much for my iPad 3, especially when recording, but only some. On a Pro, it runs flawlessly. I judge a synth by how often I end up using it, and this one finds its way into most of my tracks.

  • Great synth. Need to fix audio distortion!

In iOS 9.2.1 - when playing notes very fast or running high tempo arpeggiator I am getting distortion on all my iPads.

Must be CPU bogging down competing with touch or display memory handling ??

Otherwise iSEM is still one of my go-to synths!!
  • Sounds good, but can't save anything

I have to admit that this virtual synth sounds very good, and the layout of the different pages is intuitive. But I am completely unable to save any of my presets. The app will act like the preset has been saved, but when I go to my presets or the category I assigned the preset to, the preset isn't there. I have the iMini app from Arturia and am able to save presets in that app, so not sure what's up.

  • Awesome App Great Job!

This app is really cool! Though, it still has some bugs that need fixing, like the app crashing randomly and your midi keyboards mod wheel not communicating with the app properly. It also needs dedicated reverb controls under the effects section. The sounds are awesome, but it could be better with reverb and not just delay. It's way too hard to get the delay to sound like natural reverb.

  • Sounds Are Awesome

If you need some good bass sounds, here's the place to start. In fact, this will give you everything you need. No need to move on. Of course, I have a truckload of synths loaded on my iPad. But this is one that I go to a lot. Especially for bass sounds.
  • Beautiful sounds, tough to integrate

As a fan of old synths, I recently bought both the iSEM and the iMini for my iPad2 (updated with iOS8). As others have reported, there are some issues, most related to MIDI, with these Arturia apps on iOS8. With iSEM especially, sometimes I can connect to external devices or other apps (like SoundPrism), sometimes I can’t, sometimes only some functions connect. There, that’s the “bad” out of the way, and 1-star off. But I am absolutely blown away by the sounds, the user interface and the overall experience. There are so many sound patches in here, and so many that, when you press a key, you may go “Oh, WOW, I know that sound!” I will find a way to add this into my GarageBand workflow. And I wanted to leave a fair and high rating for these apps to encourage others to try them, and to encourage the developers to continue to update for iOS8. These are the kind of apps that make me want to rush out and get an iPad Air in order to get even better performance from them, and to keep developing my own amateur music chops. Well done, Arturia!
