This app COULD be a great tool to begin learning German, or to review/refresh. HOWEVER, I installed the latest updates, and tried using the “Games” feature to enhance my learning. After only three (3) of the 15 questions were answered, an ad popped-up in the middle of my phone screen, TOTALLY covering the questions in the quiz game. I clicked the TINY x in the upper right corner to close the ad and try to resume my quiz/game. The dialogue box changed from the ad content to a message saying “ad closed by Google”, but the blank dialogue/ad box remained, with absolutely no way to close the box, and TOTALLY obscuring the questions and answers of the quiz/game. I battled it for a moment, clicked the “report ad....ad covers content” (an understatement) option, but couldn’t get the box to close to resume my lesson. I hit the home button and started over. I got to question three (3) of 15 again, and another ad that TOTALLY covered the questions and answers, and wouldn’t close appeared again. Essentially, on an iPhone screen, trying to utilize the app in its current form to play “games” or more accurately answer timed quiz questions is absolutely pointless and extremely frustrating.Show lessGerman NON-Learner

Dear App User, We have updated the placement of ads so this will not happen again, it is now only showing after you play the game. We also included a clearer means to skip it if you wish to do so. Our sponsor ads and a percentage of users allows us to give free lessons to our users who can't afford as much. Thanks for supporting our means to give free education for everyone.
