Subscription not what I thought
I thought the one year subscription would also give me access to back issues. It doesn't.sretuiljgdder
Not a bad app.
I only subscribed for IOS, so I don’t have the issues others have mentioned. The app itself is very minimalistic. It’s not a very savvy app, technologically, by any means. But its format is easy to navigate and even allows for text-to-speech on IOS. For the content of the magazine, the quality fluctuates as all “pop” *insert topic* magazines tend to do. Rubbish app (great magazine)
Cannot use with “website subscription”. In hindsight, maybe should have realised that “website subscription” meant “website-only subscription”, but surely one digital subscription should work for both app and web.paulant
First rate read in a poor app.
The magazine itself is excellent thought provoking and stimulating in a way you might expect from a philosophy journal. The app itself is atrocious, it jumps from articles to the magazine front cover in one click is my particular gripe though the lack of a bookmark is also irritating.

Are the publishers aware that a separate (paid?)subscription is necessary for the app, apart from desktop subscription? First time I have encountered this payment plan.ntrospctv
Two subscriptions?
From what I can tell, you have to purchase a subscription for the app even if you subscribed on a desktop. If this is the case, it’s pretty barbaric.riles7

Unusable
Cool idea, but the App is not ready for prime-time. Impossible to access the table of contents without the app freezing up. You’ll be staring at a blank screen, not reading philosophy articles. Wait till PN resolves this issue before wasting your time.marniblitz
