Very good app

Hello everybody, as far as I know a little French since around 10 years ago, to make me update, I find this application very useful.

French

I am fully paid up as a gold member, however it doesn’t do anything. It wants me to purchase gold coins

No sound!

Previously bought this app a while back and enjoyed all 24 courses. Just bought a new iPad and had to re-purchase the courses, that’s fine, since my subscription probably ran out anyhow. Got set up with the purchase and wanted to try it out again, but there’s no sound! So, is this possibly a compatibility issue with the new iPad, am I doing something wrong, or have I been ripped off? Please advise!its due to renew soon. How can I get sound?

I am still using APP

French has been a true dream of mine. This is the most positive experience in both dialect and vocabulary. However, just purchased a new phone and I cannot unlock all lessons. Please let me know if I can restore the information/accomplishments I have received during my training. Thank you for your help in advance

Decent for what it is

You can at least go through a small bit before having to buy the app. But since I’ve only unlocked lesson 3 so far, I don’t know how far it actually lets you go 😬

Better than Duolingo

I have to address the caveat right away, I have a more photographic mind. So for me seeing the English and French words next to each other really helps me retain the knowledge, even better than duo lingo. I also enjoy the fact that every word and phrase you hear the pronunciation which is huge when trying to convey yourself properly! It is also an app you can just listen to and don’t have to constantly interact with. You can start a lesson and just listen to it and follow along. The app also speaks slowly and clearly. I highly suggest this app to anyone looking to establish or strengthen there foundation in French!

Bit tricky hidden market tactics for unwary

The app is good. It rolls on word after word so you can listen to it while driving to work. Many don’t do this. They stop and start. However, after a while the app stops and won’t work unless you use gold coins. This means you are directed to view an advertisement then you are expected to load another app. The other app assumes you have a grade school grammar comprehension. I personally don’t need another app which is just basic English when I want to learn French thank you.

Amazing app

I only had this app for 2 days and I have all ready learned about 7 words!

5 🌟for being free...1 star, just started...

Test runs would be appreciated seeing as how it's void of instructions..
Just started and will update review...

Thanks for the review Rekkah, we're working on ways to include instructions. Rest assured, it will happen mate. We have based a lot of our improvements through the reviews and your review is one of them. Hopefully you can rate us a bit higher as we do work hard to improve our app and give more features for free. Thank you!

Such a great App!

I have already tried using books for French and this app called Babel. I did not learn a whole lot with the books because there was only French, not French and English. It also did not say the words aloud, so I was messing up my pronunciation. Babel was working fine, then it started coming in with these dumb hidden fees. So then I tried this app. It was going great because I was getting my pronunciation down because the app says the French word aloud. It also does English to French, which I am using. I was learning at a good rate, and for free. Then the free trial ended and I thought this was going to be the same as Babel. Well, it wasn’t. All you have to do different is instead of all the apps being open, you have to get them with gold coins, which you can get by doing a 3 second add. Best French app yet.
