My favorite version
After playing multiple versions of Mahjong from the App Store, luckily I gave this one a shot. The tiles are large and detailed so it makes the gameplay more engaging. And unlike other Mahjong apps I have tried, this one gives a nice selection of both tiles and backgrounds to choose from. The game is not add free by default so you will have to watch some in order to advance but not as frequently as other versions I have played. I deleted all of the previous Mahjong apps and only rock this one. Dito me, people!Show lessFun!
I’ve gone back-and-forth between this and Microsoft Mahjong for years. The only complaint I have about this that you can only do it in landscape on your phone. I would rather do it in portrait mode. But everything else is great. Definitely worth playing. I did purchase it once before, but the system doesn’t seem to be able to find my license. Not sure I will rebuy, but I can’t say that it is worth it if you do.Show lessA pretty good game
This is a game that gets gradually more difficult, which is pretty much a matter of taste. I prefer to have more control over how hard a game I play at a particular time.
It has a choice of tiles, and I think that one of them is gorgeous. The player can also choose whether tiles that can be moved are lit up or not. Just because it's lit doesn't mean that there is a matching free tile.
Music can be turned on or off, which I like. I completely ignore the scoring, but it is available for those who like that sort of thing.Show less
