SAVE YOUR MONEY - BUY AN OFFICIAL AUDIOGUIDE AT THE DOOR
Disappointed because this guide was essentially useless for a self guided tour. None of the numbers on the keypad entry correspond to the official route established by the Al Hambra. There are huge portions of missing information when it comes to the map and the many locations spread across the complex.
In the end I didn’t end up using this app at all. Frustrated by the user experience as noted above. Ended up renting an official audioguide for €6 which made the rest of my self-guided tour actually enjoyable. Waste of $3 and a bunch of time figuring out that this app doesn’t correspond to the official route. Wish I had bought the official audioguide at the main entrance, I would have learned much more about the space with my limited time visit.Show lessSlothSlammerrrrr

Great information, entertaining, and a very affordable way to tour this amazing site, get historical info, and go at your own pace, away from a large tour group.

Entertaining and informative for the whole family
We loved this app for our visit to the Alhambra. Completed our visit in 3 hours. App was easy to follow. Might have been nice to have a commentary or two in the gardens. But overall, this was the right level of detail for us, engagingly presented, and easy to navigate. Suitable for children 10 and up. Recommend.Show lessStephcheff

Excellent app that provides a rich, entertaining tour of Alhambra. Very engaging narrative that expertly weaves together fun stories and the riveting history of this amazing site. A must-have since there are few alternatives for English tours at Alhambra, and in fact is far better than most audio or in person guides I have experienced. Worth it
Great little app for the price. Probably not the most thorough guide, but enough info to take you on a decent tour of the Alhambra. Some of the point of interest names don’t actually match what they’re called on site, but otherwise it was very easy and helpful.cbruno13
Worked well
This app was informative and very helpful in touring the Alhambra. There is no audio guide currently available and this was a very good substitute. It would be a bit easier if the map could show your position but all in all my husband and I really enjoyed it.Xx business xx
Decent App, better than nothing
The audio guide on this is decent - not of the same quality as some of the official ones available at other sites, but given that Alhambra currently doesn't have its own, this is a pretty good substitute. The style is kind of odd and distracting, but it still had good information (wish it had more detail tho). While I do wish there were an official audio guide available, in the absence of that, I would recommend this app - it definitely made my visit better without the rushed feeling of being with a tour group guide (I guess if you have the $$ you could hire a private guide).Show lessCyra21

Loved this app!! Easy to use, excellent narration, interesting, simple to navigate, covered all parts of our visit to Alhambra and Generalife.
