Watch your language!
Overall, I've found this a very useful app.
The one annoyance is that, using voice recognition, the program censors anything it considers dirty. I mean, c'mon—everyone wants to know how to swear in another language.
Even more baffling is that, if you type in a "dirty word" the program allows it.
I don't need my apps to monitor my behavior.Piebone

When I first downloaded it it did not work right. The microphone did not work. It must have updated .
Now I love this translator. Works great now on my iPad and iPhone . I like the history feature because I can write quite a few things to translate to the cute Chinese girl at the restaurant .Andriod3508

Quite impressive!
I downloaded this off of a 3rd party app out of sheer curiosity and without expecting much at all. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I tested the app in English, Italian, and Portuguese and it was able to understand me completely pretty much every time, with very decent (if not perfect) translations always. It understands speech well in English, Spanish and German. Translation was pretty rotten for Spanish. For example, my son tried "good morning, Dad" and got "buen padre mañana" instead of the correct "buenos días, Papá". Doesn't really inspire me for languages I do not understand.Pjoalfa
