  • Best solitaire game on the App Store

Clean look, satisfying animations and feedback and makes other solitaire up one apps look like they’re from the 90s
  • Lefty

I recommend change the Lefty from Off or On to L or R. That way L is on the left and R on the right. It will make it easier to switch between each.

Hi there, sorry you’re having issues! We updated the gesture for getting back to the home screen to try and make it simpler and more discoverable to get in and out of games. You should be able to drag the game board back down to the bottom, or tap the little handle at the very top. Tweet us @twoamadios if that’s not working and we can figure it out!
  • This app saved my life.

My plane crashed on the 25th of June, 2018.

After spending 35 hours lost in the micro-rainforests of Malawi, I stumbled across a North-African pygmy village. While resting and recovering from my injuries, the village elder approached me with some grave news. A neighbouring cannabalistic tribe of pygmies had recently broke a treaty of peace and was now demanding a human sacrifice. Being an American, I had the blessing (and curse) of being the largest body in the village and thus was selected as the sacrificial lamb. Facing death in the face, I did the only thing I could; challenge the opposing cannibal pygmy chief to a best of 3 in Vegas rules solitaire.

45 stressful minutes passed as the chief and I dragged cards across the sleek-streamlined UI of Solitaire X. The hot African sun caused sweat to drip down onto my screen, but luckily the crisp graphics of this fantastic app allowed me to see through this unforseen blockade.

Ultimately, I survived my ordeal uneaten, having beaten the neighbouring tribe into submission. A statue was constructed in my honour in the center of the tribal village. A statue I'd like to dedicate to the creators of Solitaire X.

  • Beautiful solitaire

This app is amazing! As someone who has played solitaire since childhood, this app has made the transition to solitaire on my phone so simple. I love playing it on the subway to work! Thanks
  • Update for worse

I congratulate you for your great update, good job. However, now the app does not work well after the update. I enter a game and when I want to go "backwards" it hangs up. it does not move anything, neither up or down nor for one side or the other. I liked the previous version better. They should look at all the flaws before launching an update!

Thank you for your review, we're sorry you are having trouble with this. We actually changed the way to go back to the menu in response to users having trouble with the back gesture in the previous versions. The new way to exit a game is to drag downwards or tap at the top of the window just above where you place the cards. I hope this helps and let us know if you have other issues with the update!
  • Crisp, So Very Crisp

You’re looking at THE definitive solitaire app. Since the new update, this app has become so polished that I can see myself smiling in its reflection. The layout is incredibly streamlined. The transitions are so MILKY smooth and very handsome. If you like well designed products and one-handed single-player games... well, this is it. Everything you’ve ever wanted.

  • Two Card Draw Please., . Six-Starred. . . Seven ., .

i like it. more visual choice of color, texture, scales, will read quicker for some. edge-awareness pops acquisition rates. like it.
  • Some bugs, but GOOD

I like how simple and BS free this version is. Beautiful and clean looking. Far superior version of Solitaire, even with bugs.

However, I have a few recurring issues that are making my gameplay frustrating. If these bugs can be corrected, I will amend this review.

First, when playing simple klondike, I would work through the draw deck and (seemingly) on the last card in the deck, the little plus sign would grey out and become an x. When this happens, I cannot draw new cards and it will not restack the draw deck. Nothing could change it back to a + sign. I had to close the app and restart to continue playing. This happened often and with no discernible pattern. -1 star there.

Next, I had an agonizingly frustrating experience trying to return to the menu. Again, closing and reopening the app did the trick. After a few days playing, I figured out that there IS a swipe right mechanic to return to the menu. But it worked almost never. Seriously, many many failed swipes until it finally worked for whatever reason. -1 star.

The last point isn't bad enough to lose a star, but I just have to say I learned the controls in the app as well as game rules largely by trial and error. Man, I'm familiar with the games, but I don't have free cell rules memorized by heart. I would love to see a list of controls and game rules somewhere in the menu to avoid confusion like mine for others.

Overall, I really like this app, especially compared to the other versions of Solitaire on the app store. I had to share my experiences, in the hope of making a great app even better. I only meant to offer constructive observations, not to nit pick. 🖖

Hey, thanks for playing! Totally hear your frustration with the swipe-back gesture. On first install we should have a little animation hinting that it's there, but we're working on a bit of a better model for the future. Once you get the hang of it it should work every time! If you're having trouble reloading the deck, you might be in "Vegas Mode" accidentally. In vegas mode the rules are a little stricter and the decks don't refresh, so feel free to disable that in settings and you should be back in business.
