Brightness adjustment need input option
The brightness requires use of the slider that is fine for basic things but to use this and guarantee same brightness on same device that some of us require for making flat frames I would like to see an option to enter exact brightness like 14% this way I can come back and press a preset or renter the 14% instead of guessing on the slider

Pixel density not enough
As other reviewers have said, this won’t work for photographing slides. I tested it with an iPad Pro and the display pixels are visible through the slide, which is understandable and not really the developer’s fault. I’m rating considering this use case.

Not bright enough and image contained in hundreds of tiny little squares.
Perfect to use for artwork
I love this app, it is the perfect tool for my artwork. I want to trace my sketches on to watercolour paper 250gm/115lb for painting and this Lightbox works perfectly. I can see the sketch clearly.
The grid and lines are very useful for lining up and resizing. Simple ‘no fuss’ and easy to use. Thanks very much.

Viewing slides
The app works as expected and is very useful to look at negatives or slides. It is not useful when you want to copy slides with your DSLR. On the pictures you will see the pixels from the iPad screen. I bought a real lightbox for this purpose.
Better than the basic Light Box
This app is better than a basic light box, because it's portable! The intensity of the light can be adjusted, and there are various grids, and measurements that you can use. Love this!
No need to buy this app
You can get a free whiteboard app that provides the same intensity light/white background.
Simply what I needed
Much like @FrankWimmer above, I just needed to retrace some sketches and just needed a backlit surface, tried using a white desktop or opening procreate and using the paper surface, but I kept accidentally launching apps or resizing the procreate surface, because I couldn't figure out how to lock those so they wouldn't respond to my touch. Thanks for a simple light table, that does what I need, for a reasonable price.

It’s as simple as its name “Light Box”
Just when I dropped my actually small light box, I find this.
I still look at slides and negatives and this pretty much does the job.
The person below must’ve never seen a light box before.., or even film…, or a SLR.

Exactly what I needed.
Not sure what the dissenting review here was expecting. This is a simple, functional light box, in the traditional sense of the word. In my case, it's exactly what I need and was hoping for.
I do illustrations for a web comic and needed to retrace and clean up some one of my illustrations before scanning it and taking into Adobe Illustrator. I've got a great LED light box, but didn't bring it with me today. Checked the App Store in hopes that I could turn my iPad pro into a bright white surface for tracing. This app did the job beautifully. In addition, I was very happy to discover that I could turn on grid lines as a helpful reference.
Even though I didn't expect the grid feature, it would be nice to be able to set the grid to any size desired. Hopefully something that may appear in a future update. Meanwhile, this was a real lifesaver today. If you ever need a surrogate LED light box, I highly recommend this.
