  • was great until the popups!

I loved this app when I first downloaded it. Had great light, dust, and lens flare texture overlays that made it super fast & easy to create "retro-looking" photos. With the recent update, there are suddenly ads everywhere! I understand this is the free version, so banner ads are understandable; but 5+ second pop ups for tacky flash games that I can't click out of that occur multiple times within the span of a minute? Also really disappointing they made it so you now can't not download your image with the "Filterloop" logo on it - used to be optional, now you have to pay premium to remove it. Or just take it into Photoshop. At that point, you might as well do all your editing in Photoshop. Now that I can't just quickly edit a photo in a couple minutes, it makes me second guess keeping this app around.

  • Picture perfect

    Great
  • Filterloop yes!

I’ve only started using it properly and enjoying it, I just want to be able to play around more before writing a full review.
I am student so trying to hold on to every penny before buying any upgrades but what I can do with it now is great! Such fun to make my pictures look funky! Thanks!
  • 💫

Filterloop is a pretty great app for your vintage and retro-esque needs. Even with the free version, you get a surprisingly wide variety of filters and effects, that is if you don't mind frequent video ads. It has crashed for me a few times editing large HDR photos. Overall it's one of the better photo editing apps I'm able to get on my iPhone 4S. 3.5/5

  • Good

I haven’t had this app for long but I think it’s pretty good but you shouldn’t need to pay for some areas of the app
  • Way too many ads

Love the effects but can’t get through even one minute of using this app without getting a long ad. I’ve been on it for five minutes and already had 4 game ads! Incredibly frustrating 😝 would pay to get rid of them because the app itself is awesome but I can’t believe they would have this many ads interrupting you every 30 seconds. I totally understand that they need to make some sort of $ off the app, well deserved, but this is just absurd.

  • BEWARE!

You are told this app is ‘free‘ unless you use certain features. I just learned that I checked it out, deleted it from my phone and then realised I was being billed for not using it for months. I feel so cheated. Awful. They use horrible marketing clearly trying to trap users. It was only after I spoke to Apple support team that they explained it to me. I’ve been charged for months without my knowledge! Scammers.

  • Amazing!

Amazing app!! The tones and effects are all beautiful and make pictures look cool! I love the effects with burst of colour, and then also being able to make the contrast on the images greater to define my image, and make it look more in focus and clear. I like that there’s loads of choices to choice from! Specially if you’re using it for free, there’s plenty to choice from, from a wide range of different effects.

  • Teeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrible After Update

    Your last update is teeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrible.
You’ve added ZERO value to your users. All you’ve done is shove endless ads down our throats. It’s bad enough that there’s now ad after ad after distracting ad popping up at the top, but the nail in the coffin are the ads that take fully over the screen, have nowhere to click out of them, lock up, and made me lose the image I was editing. I even paid for this app now it’s not worth even using.

  • I really like this app but

I like this app a lot, it has everything I’m looking for but for some reason when I go to pick a picture to edit, it only works with very few photos. I think it’s some kind of glitch but I can’t edit any photos because of it. I really like this app and I hope it can be fixed.
