I started using this app prior to moving to Thailand. Despite being almost 50 years old I particularly liked that "childish" approach, meaning the way the developer presents all the characters etc. Made for children (maybe) but great if you're a non-native speaker trying to acquire the basic reading and writing skills.
Over here in Thailand I continue to go to a language school. When I showed them the app they made very positive comments about it despite some minor mistakes they say they saw in the app.
I made very quick progress with this app and went straight to my sools's third creasing and writing course, skipping the initial 2.
This game/app comes highly recommended if you want to learn how to read and write Thai. It is a great addition to other learning materials at least.
