  • Yes

This app is terrible. Don't get the extra classes, they don't download.
  • Good but needs enhancement

I like this app it helps me get through my workout and gives me some good metrics. But the sound controls need to be enhanced. I'd like to be able to skip tracks for example. Also sometimes the sound drops down almost like the VoiceOver came in but with no voice and then doesn't go back to normal volume and you can't adjust it you can only start the playlist again. Also the sensor loses connection occasionally.
    Thanks

  • OK, need export to other fitness apps

Really need ability to get data to sites like training peaks. Xspin device also has limited support in other fitness apps that do support export. Probably dumping the app and returning the xspin.
  • Not configurable, nearly useful enough

I use a Schwinn large fan Airdyne. The XSpin does work, but Cycle Rush is a big disappointment. I know what I want to do and I need only an app that does what I want it to do, not tell me what it wants me to do. I don’t need or want “programming”. I just want the app to take measurements and remain stupid. Really, I can handle everything else without interference.

First, I want to set the time to count down from the time interval I set. Then measure speed, a reasonable measurement of “distance” and a reasonable measurement of “calories” expended, then issue an alarm when the time is up.

Second, the app does have a function to play the music you have installed on the iPhone, but it only plays the music in playlists, not albums. A negative, but this can obviously be accommodated. Problematic, however, is the app still allows the “coach” speak over the music to give instructions about what it wants you to do. I don’t want a coach. When I choose to listen to my music when I use the app, I mean it.

As an additional function, I would be nice if the app measures the effort on the Airdyne. As the fan “wheel” spins faster, the level of effort increases.

In short, I want the app to emulate the Schwinn Airdyne's existing display at minimum, adding features and accuracy that wasn't available 20 years ago.

  • Very motivating !

    Works pretty Good !
  • Great workout but.....

The app is a great workout, but if the sensor is lost there is no option to resume the ride after you re-connect the sensor. The only option is to save the ride and then start all over again. This should be the same functionality as pausing the ride and then the option to resume.
