I want to like this!
I just wish this app were a bit better. Minor technical issues with crashes, but nothing too bad, and the media player in the app is really slick and easy to use - only a couple of problems with the automatic look-up. Problems are mostly with content, which is all over the map in terms of quality. The system that filters content level seems almost arbitrary, and review activities are extremely dull and repetitive.
Again, the media player is great, but it seems like there are other ways to get a similar experience without paying for this subscription.Show lessPantsBoom
Nice idea, lots of content but…
Nice idea, you’ll no doubt find content that suits your interest. All videos have 3 translations - Chinese, Pin Yin and English. The main problem I found was the quality of the videos, not only the picture quality but audio was very distorted. I signed up to premium, really tried hard to get into the habit to watch and study the content but could no longer bear the poor sound quality. It’s quite a shame really… I’m surprised the developers can’t hear it themselves.Show lessHnhassan77777

Absolutely Worth It Get This
I have been using this app daily for half a year. I was struggling with watching videos in Chinese, and now, I am finally seeing progress in this area because of this app. It is totally worth the money. I also like that this app does not give those silly reminders to rate it.Colasante

Great idea
Very good format. The UI isn't very polished but I can see this having a lot of potential as a learning mechanism. Haven't tried the premium content yet.Blue duck 9
