Not much works. Waste of time and money.
It advertises that you can play with others (strangers) online but this feature doesn’t work. It also advertises that you can host a game and a friend can sign on to play with you; this also does not work. Playing against the computer can be fun, so I give it one star. A lot of room for improvement. They need to hire a skilled app designer. In my business, this would’ve been fixed in one day. I’ve been waiting months after reporting the issues and still no fix. Can’t host a game
Purchased this game a month ago and it suddenly won’t allow me to Host A Game. Says there was a matchmaking error. It’s been like this for both my friend and I for 4 days. Please help!!!
This error comes up every time:

Hello, When exactly do the crashes happen? After a full round of gameplay, during the gameplay, after watching a rewarded ad, etc. ? If you could give us more details and take a screenshot of the frozen screen, we would be able to help you better. Have a great day!Terrible!
What happened to my purchased game!? I can’t even restore my purchase. I’ve had skipbo for years and it’s never caused a problem until they switched to spite & malice. Too many ads (can’t get through a round without an ad), crashes all the time. Brutal! Would not recommend.Mixaa23

When I first downloaded, the app worked well. Over time, glitches and ads slowed it down to the point where it made it impossible to play. Deleted!Josiane101
Marginal gameplay not a lot of options
The game play is vaguely fun but there are some reasons I’m deleting:
1) even the “quick” game (5 card stock pile) is interrupted by so many 30+ ads, it’s no longer quick.
2) in dingle player mode, you can’t change the name/avatar of your bot opponents: I play against 3 identical ladies named Carol!
3) you can’t adjust the volume on the ads....there is one that starts off with a girl screaming and repeats endlessly. How fun is THAT?
4) no choice of music, order of players, color background of screen or cards, no kind of bonus round....it’s like the developers aren’t even trying to keep it fresh.
5) at the end of the game, there’s no option to just play another game with the same settings. You have to go back to the Home Screen and choose again. And they play an ad every other move during the game and get you again at the end. Greedy much?!Show lessTia RaeRae
Fun but poorly executed approximation of skip-bo
App kicks you out of the game after showing an ad, so you just can’t finish the game. We had 2 cards left in a 30 card game and were kicked out. That’s a completely deal-breaking bug.
Timer to force you to move within 15s, but cannot be paused in any way, so you better hope you don’t receive a call or need the bathroom or anything else. Not sure why they wouldn’t allow a “propose pause” option for hosted games...
Awkward game hosting implementation doesn’t take advantage of game centre and requires one to text a connection code.

Spite & malice-great game app!
I am perturbed by the fact that the game allows the joker to be used as a 7! I was told when introduced to the real card game, the rule is the the 7 HAS to be a real 7: ie not substituted by the joker.
Perhaps a points based scoring system could be incorporated.
Otherwise an enjoyable card game brought to the digital age.Show lessStubbberz
