Great station. This app however does have a couple little bugs. Will just stop playing from time to time (once a week maybe).
Everytime you stop and restart, you have to listen to an ad.
And the ‘watch live’ feature does work, but it’s never actually on the broadcaster. And when it is, it’s delayed. If you can fix these problems that I have, I’ll change my 4 stars to 5 Stars. 👍

Poor app performance
The app is a backward step to the previous….
Can’t download shows to listen to when no phone signal.
App logs you out when it loses signal and loses position in the show you’re listening to.
Poor CarPlay interface, cannot fwd and rev in increments, doesn’t list shows, need to use the phone.

App is not professionally maintained and updated as it should be ,news is not up to date, when you notify the station with problems there to arrogant to rectify problems, also presenters are down right rude! Need some lessons on how to talk to people and general PR!!!
Completely unusable at this point
Crashes frequently. Have deleted and reinstalled countless times.

App has stopped playing radio station. Have re-installed and re-logged in a couple of times with no luck.

Since the latest update, the live stream doesn’t work.
Buggy and needs improving
I listen everyday driving in regional areas. I’ll list my gripes:
- no fwd/rev controls on CarPlay
- no show / content selection from CarPlay
- login requests way too often
- when listening to recorded show the app regularly and randomly drops out, requires me to sign in again and loses the position I’ve listened up to (super annoying). May be linked to loss of mobile signal but the old app allowed me to download and this asn’t an issue
- did I mention I cannot download shows!!
- no fwd/rew controls on Lock Screen
- volume levels between ads/different shows/ intro music can be excruciatingly quiet or loud
Surely these are more important items to rectify than a sleep timer, an iPhone can turn off the player itself with the timer app.

New update looks and operates well but disappointed they’ve taken away the live studio camera option. I know it’s radio but there were times that having the ability to watch what was going on was fun and/or interesting. Wish they chose to take away some ads instead…. The Nine takeover was a sad day.

App is slow to download & is the only one that has Ads before IT starts. Also, more short would be handy.
6PR all the way!
My wife and I always listen to 6PR…and when I say all the time:
We have speakers on the front patio and back patio, my wife has a blue tooth speaker in the kitchen…and it also goes overseas with us too!
Our car always has 6PR AND so does the caravans sound system 💕

Listen right up to 3 then switch off cannot handle the Squeal that is Oliver Peterson all he does is throw out headlines ask for comments never asks the awkward questions
The Truth
The only radio station in WA that tells it like it is…..unfortunately was that the reason for the demise of Liam B…..no politicians interviewed? They wouldn’t face him. Enjoying most time slots and enjoy the banter in the mornings. Radio is on 6PR when I can. Hence am now on the App whilst out having coffee……
Agree wholeheartedly with the above 6PR offers a good blend of listening….the only station in WA that does. Years ago would flit between morning ABC and 6PR, wouldn’t touch ABC with a barge pole now. Thank you 6PR

Listen to 6PR every weekday. The app stops every now and then. If that’s fixed then it’ll be perfect.
