Terrible Customer Service
customer service has been shifted from USA to offshore when Ownership changed approx 4yrs ago. The knowledge and communication barrier make it next to impossible to resolve issues. The Matterport website link that houses all scans glitch’s and at times is not accessible. If you are new and have not purchased the expense hardware I suggest you look at other 3D scanning options before making this expensive investment. - Mike

Quite possibly the worst piece of software I have used
Used with a Ricoh Theta, this has constant alignment issues, connection issues, and features that simply don’t work well. This is an absolute nightmare to work with, but realtors demand it. Why add “features” like manual realignment if they never actually work? Zillow tours are able to determine the proximity between scans very well using a Theta. This junk app frequently can’t even align scans that are in the same room

I have been an authorized Matterport Partner since 2017 and have watched the evolution of this companies CUSTOMER CARE and Resource Center.
It has all been positive even in the occassional hiccups here and there.

Crashes all the time with Axis. Unusable. Save yourself the headache.
And yes, I've reinstalled. Still sucks.
Great App. But…..
This is a great app. But why can’t you add a feature, where you can download other tours that are not your own? Since the MATTERPORT 3D SHOWCASE APP hasn’t been working in almost a week and has not been updated in 4 years, this would be a great feature to add. It would make a lot of users and clients happy.

Horrible Customer Service
Horrible customer service, slow processing of floorplans, and very expensive. Go with other software, your business will thank you for it.
Limits you to low resolution scans if you don’t buy a Matterport camera
The claim that they are compatible with other 360 cameras is misleading because it limits you to low resolution scans. It disables the higher quality scans in your camera. They do this to make it look like their cameras are noticeably better, but the actual observable difference is likely negligible. I did not know they intentionally degraded the quality of scans before I subscribed. Needless to say, I canceled my subscription immediately.

Terrible experience
This app used to be good, but it is now constantly signing me out, blurry photos, poor stitching together, alignment errors. Don’t know what’s happened but it’s a poor experience
