This app looks like it it may eventually generate some interesting information, but I'm not going to continue using it.
Initial problems with setting up a vehicle: The app presented incorect vehicle configuration options, and it also required you to enter the 'factory specs' for 'city' and 'motorway' fuel consumption, without offering any defaults for that specific vehicle - I wonder how many people will not have that info and guess, thereby throwing off the analysis functions of the app?
Inaccurate data: Gas here is priced at NN.N cents/litre, but the app won't allow fractions of a cent to be entered, yet it will allow 1/100's of a litre to be entered. The overall inaccuracy may only be a couple percent, but it does make it annying to enter and check against the total of the purchase receipt (which never match because of this).
Horrible and inefficient data entry method: It uses sliders to adjust values, which they say makes it easier, just a few taps - the reality is quite the opposite. Data entry is fidgety, you have to keep trying to get it to land/stay on the exact value, and for some values, especially the number of litres purchased, you have to keep sliding, and sliding... so many times, it is frustrating and takes forever. I counted the number of times I had to swipe the slider to go fom a value for a top-up amount to a full tank amont, it took 93 swipes! You can try and flick to speed it up but it doesn't help much, and there is no other entry method - very very poor design.
Nice idea but needs better data input method; it takes way too long to enter data at a gas station, and is just so cumbersome and frustating use because of that - they should stop trying to be cute and just put an efficient, accurate, quick keypad, along with enough digits to store an accurate price, and provide vehicle setup data rather than you having to go find that yourself and enter it.
