Pulse brother
Very nice news agregator with Pulse like layout. Unfortunately I cannot see the RSS feeds I added. Please fix this bug. thank you
UPDATE - gave it a try again and disappointed even more. Injections of ads in between the feeds is a major turn off. Delete delete deleteGood content slow to update
Latest updated killed it. My old feeds only work on occasion and nothing I add stays next time I use the program. Hope they fix it.
The overall feel and look is good, but the articles renew slowly and gets frustrating trying to see what is new. Needs a way to refresh all feeds more quickly.Stopped Working after Dec 6 update
Last update killed the app...
I deleted the app, turned off my device, restarted the device, re-installed the app...
...then the application functioned again.
I thoroughly enjoy this app. It is the absolute best consolidator of news, blogs, etc.
The presentation is spectacular.Broke with last update
This app has been an alright replacement for what used to be pulse before LinkedIn acquired and derailed that app.
But when you have many sources, it was a little kludgy and I got to the point where I couldn't remove feeds.
But the last update on Dec 6 broke it. Now hangs in updating mode before launching fully, and then crashes. I have many saved articles and feeds in here, so that is quite the bummer to be killed by an auto update - should make you think hard about what type of time and information you're making in 3rd party products, it's just too hard to test software these days I think.Show lessCrashes and reloads too much
I enjoy this app almost as much as the old Pulse app that LinkedIn ruined. The problem is that it crashes, freezes or continuously reloads an article when you are reading it. The ability to draw news from sources and to have them categorized is very appealing, it just needs to be more stabile. I still use it often.Show lessUncurated news!
For years I used LinkedIn's Pulse news app—but when they switched to a curated news-feed, I went looking for another option. Anews offers the most similar model—you can select which news sources you want to see, and in what order, and then scroll through the headlines from each source from side to side.
I'm very happy with this app and that there is at least one app left that lets you select the stories you want to read, even sort-of.Show lessSuper app
I ve started to use it few months ago and i am So happy to have found it. Is Like Pulse used to be and i Hope it will never change.A minus
Like many here, I was a former Pulse app user...it was a well designed, user friendly app until LinkedIn
ruined it.
A works well, it's easy to negotiate...it would benefit
from a wider net of sources.
Film School Rejects?God replacement for Pulse
I picked this app to replace (the once good) Pulse new reader. Pile was ruined by LinkedIn takeover. This app could be a bit better if it included some missing tech news sites as well as ability to switch to full hamlet site view without the need to scold down to hit the article link. It gets to be annoying to have to scroll down.Show lessAlmost replaces Pulse
First off, if you are a former Pulse user this is the closest replacement. Second if you are a former Pulse user alienated by LinkdIn's butchering of Pulse take the time to go give the new Pulse app the negative feedback it deserves. I've made it my mission to regularly rate the new Pulse app with a 1 star review each time they update it just to steer people to better apps like this one.Show less
