Very little use and Aesthetically Unpleasant
While I would love, a good app for CTHS, I found that the App had very little use. The UI, while fast, felt gross to use, and the use of the sections were minimal. Perhaps the app would be better with School news (I.e. Orchestra concert on x-x-x, school play dates, and other news.) on the front, along with sports info (I.e. Scores, and maybe after clicking on it, a play-by-play analysis of each game.) The map is utterly useless, as it doesn't show a school map, just a bird's eye view of the school. The music section would be better not on the front "hot bar" and maybe else where. The "my-hub" should be redone with a faster connection, and direct linking to my.cherrycreek. A school schedule built in with reminders would be nice. The video and picture section should let everyone upload pictures and videos as they please (from their cherry creek account) And share app should be in a settings tab.
As for the general look of the app, I would recommend the currently popular "text on a bright coloured square", and possibly another neutral coloured background with the CTHS logo in the Corner. (Letting us change the colour of the background and text squares would be nice too.) the curves on the app feel odd, and need to be removed as curves feel "old" on UI. (Or just sharpened)
Maybe the addition of being able to sign in and have the app display your days schedule, class locations, and times would fit the app greatly.
My biggest problem with the app is that it has too many useless features, the athletics menu is empty, along with everything else. A clear victim of bloating features, and filling an otherwise empty app with empty features.
