  • Hangs up

Hangs up and I had to delete game and reinstall then it hung up again so I just deleted it, not worth the headache
  • Need maps

    Need map
  • Liked it but ...

Add a way to go scene to scene such as a map.
The games were often hard and not fun if it’s just a matter of luck. But the art is great and locations inventive. Thank you.
  • Love it!

I love the way you took and made the HOs and created a new way of doing them, such a breath of fresh air!
  • Secrets of the Dark: Eclipse Mountain

Why aren’t all hidden objects games equipped with a map? This one wasn’t. Oh, and game writers, “solve the puzzle” is not an explanation.

While I’m ranting, please include a “custom” difficulty option. I hate sparkles with a passion, but I’m not an advanced player b y any means. Rant out.
  • Best game I’ve played in a long time.

Please make more games like these, this was great workmanship by very talented people who know how to entertain the public.

    Kudos to the team!
  • Like a lot but...

This is an enjoyable game with a good story line, but........I've never been one to complain about having to skip around a game, but this borders on ridiculous. If it weren't for the cut scenes on the rope car, elevator, boat, etc (I haven't completed the game yet), then I would give it 4 stars. I feel once you have been to an area, then you shouldn't have to push skip on cut scenes, pull levers etc. I also wish there were a map that I could just jump to areas. Other than that, no complaints.
  • Loved it!

Long game and lots of challenge! Yes, the graphics are a bit clunky and dated. The HOG items are small. But I don't play adventure games for the HOGs. I play for the immersion, the creativity and the challenge.

And this developer...Orneon...does an amazing job providing those things. I gladly paid the full $7 price. There was no interactive map. But I never use them anyways. Transporting maps from room to room gives the feeling of rushing and shortcuts. What's the purpose of playing then?

A few extra seconds of moving around is not something to complain about. Besides, the moving around is what keeps the player invested in the game.

I don't use hints either. Instead, I keep notes and find myself more aware of items and environments that way.

Most of the puzzles were great. Though some of them were repeated when they didn't need to be.

There used to be a time when all BF games were like this...challenging and creative.

But, it appears people don't like to think or use creative logic ...they complain about tapping from room to room, yet they have no problem tap, tap tapping on HOG games.
So BF game developers caved to the pressure of the FEW people who complained the games were "too hard" or "too much moving around."

The rest of us who enjoy the challenge of actual immersion and applying logic process to play a game are stuck with the mindless BF games built around HOGs.

I've completely stopped buying BF games because of this. There are a million HOG games on the app site...many free. Why pay $5 for BF? Interactive maps in these games are useless since all interactive areas are cleared out within 1-2 scenes before moving on to the next interactive scene.

BF developers aren't making quality games like they used to. Rushing to put out new games to make more money?

Anyways, I enjoyed this game ...and I will be purchasing only BF games put out by Orneon in the future.
  • Seems old

The HO scenes are a bit blurry, but most items can be found rather easily. The "place the object HO was more challenging but not much fun. The puzzles WERE challenging, but I didn't enjoy them. I skipped two during the free trial. One HO scene didn't support a pinch screen. The help shows you where and item is in the HO scenes and which room to go to to take your next move. But, no teleport and no map. All in all, I wasn't impressed. I didn't like switching between the dark and light rooms, either.

    Update:
No improvents to this game. You can’t even skip the intro. And, no teleporting, etc. not worth buying.
  • Good with flaws

It is a long game with a good story, good mix of HOP and puzzles. But doesn't have a map functionality so you have to use the hints especially if you put down the game for a day and you cant figure out where a key goes. Also many of the puzzles don't have a description so you have to figure out what to do which led me to skip more than Id have liked to.
