  • Extremely fun, sometimes frustrating…cause my brain quits working….

I have had this game for awhile and I enjoy playing it. Really makes you think, however piece of advice….dot think too hard. Let your brain work the pace. Although time is calculated in length of your play time to complete, I ignore it and amazingly, I get faster.
Very fun, good for time wasting for a baud, train, subway, long flight to TenBuckToo, doctor appointment waiting room? Wherever just play it as it is not boring and super fun!
Thank you creators, this is a gem of a game and you are learning things everytime you play and don’t even know it!

  • Decent Bundle

I like that this is just a one-time purchase and not subscription-based. A nice little package without too much duplication (so far). My only complaint is that it would be easier to play in landscape mode as most iPad covers are designed to prop it up that way.
  • Brain boost

I have a disorder that effects my short term memory and words are the things I love most but have the hardest time with. I got the app and although the word associations can be very unusual, doing them has helped me challenge and improve my memory. I think it would benefit anyone with age related memory issues, disorders, and it’s just fun too!

  • Wanted to love….

Love the actual game, if you can get past the constant ads (I’m about done with it). Ads not only appear at the end of a level as developer states, they are also throughout the game. Want a hint? Ad. Want another life? Ad. In between each level..ad. I understand the need to get revenue, but if you make the game so annoying with so many ads (often the same one over and over again), you will lose players. And I have to say, seeing the same ad over and over makes me want to avoid the product (game) they are trying to sell me on.

Thanks for playing Word Association! Ads only appear after you finish a puzzle, and never more often than once every few minutes. They do not appear when you use a hint. There are no "extra lives" in this game, so no ads there either... perhaps the reviewer has it confused with another game. Thanks again for playing.
  • Makes One Think!

This game, so far, isn’t just handed to you. You have to work at it a little, because it makes one think! There has been a few times that I wasn’t really sure if the two words matched. That’s because they were opposites of each other! I can spend quite a while on this game, and I lose time, but that is good! This game is relaxing to me. I think you’re going to enjoy it. I really do! Only complaint, is I think there should be MORE free chances than the 40 initial rounds. Give us MORE! Give us MORE!

  • Deleting after 5 games

After watching hundreds of game apps over my lifetime, I have never, ever experienced TORTURE when I lost a round. Until now.
Having to watch the same 2 fake ads over and over when I made one mistake, one slip of the finger as I meandered past closely-spaced wrong answers, made me crazy, not relaxed. Either get more advertisers or let us play a couple of rounds without an ad after a mistake. I have deleted. Too bad, I actually enjoyed the game itself.

Thanks for playing Word Association! For the record, mistakes do not end the game or cause an ad to appear. You can make as many mistakes as you want without ever seeing an ad. If an ad appears, it is in between levels, after you've successfully completed a game, and a few minutes have passed since the last ad appeared. I'm sorry the game didn't work out for you, but thanks for giving it a try.
  • Challenging but fun!

This game makes you use your head. Which I enjoy. Keeps my brain stimulated. I challenge myself to get 3 stars before moving on. I would recommend this game to word lovers or anybody who is tired of all the match 3 games. 👍👍
  • Great fun, exercise for the brain

I love playing this game. It makes me feel sharp when I don’t make any mistakes. It makes you think it also causes you to see words in a deeper more complex way.
  • Enjoyable

Calm, no timer! Not always as obvious as it seems. I like how a word can be used in different ways. As in “chicken “ would match “pen”. But in fact it matches to “egg”—wait, Visa versa… see? It’s fun. And if you have to stop to do something, you come back to the same screen! I highly recommend it! Thanks to who produced this!! 5 🌟

  • Mostly great

This is fun and good for brain work, but there are some words that some people would find in bad taste. They expect you to be really fast to get a 3 star rating. I’m not that fast I’m lucky when I get two stars. That said I’m 75 years old so the eyes don’t focus and the fingers don’t work as well as they once did. Enjoy
