The latest ios7 version really makes this app stand out and it does what says it on the tin. All serious project managers should try it, report writing is awesome, imports and exports in .xml plus PDF ans.csv, it syncs all projects to Mac , gorgeous flat UI. Try it, better than the others.BigDag
Great app
I have been searching for a project management app that I could use instead of MSProject. I finally found it. One of the features that I find awesome, amongst others, is the ability to document, and follow risks and action items. I recommend it without hesitation. Just right
This a great project management application for the non-PM type. I am a consulting practice lead and use SG Project Pro to track my own engagements and am using it to build a library of engagement types for my consultants. SG Project Pro contains an integrated action list and issues tracker - two things every consultant needs - all in one location. MS Project is too expensive and doesn't run native on my iPad or Mac (yes there is an SG Project Pro 5 coming on the Mac). The Dropbox integration allows me to keep projects synced across my devices. This is the right amount of functionality for my needs. I recommend it!Show lessCPTJohn
Simple Genius!
As the developers name this is "Simple Genius". Relatively simple to use and not cluttered with a lot of stuff you would probably never use. The reports are very good. I have had a couple of issues and emailed the developer who responded immediately. The support is very good. There are things that could be improved but that is just part of the development and with what I have found so far, the developer is very responsive and open to ideas and comments for future upgrades. SG 5 and Ipad 2
This is not a bad review. This is to let you know this program doesn't run well on IPAD 2. They know it doesn't. Very slow and sluggish compared to version 4 and a little weird to get around.Jrussell
A very serious project management app
I used the previous version of this app for managing a lot of refurbishment projects at work and felt that it worked really well, so I was hesitant to upgrade to what seemed like an expensive alternative. I did though and have been using SG Project Pro 5 for 10 days now. It is an extremely impressive project management tool, very easy to use, very easy to navigate between different areas of projects and tasks and yet is very powerful. The reports that can be produced are very relevant and I use these to manage a team of 8 project managers delivering refurbishments.
This isn't a toy or a tin pot app, it is a very serious piece of kit that really works very well.
Also worth noting that the response and support from the designer has been really prompt and useful too.

I'm a PM and thought of a PM App on your iPad as a bit of a gimmick. Thought I'd give it a try anyway and I have to say that this app has completely changed my mind. It's stable, intuitive and helped increase my own productivity and organisation. Really easy to use too. Recommend this for all PMsOzwildo

Great PM App for this Grad Student
I was looking to buy one of the SG Project apps and was advised by SG to wait for the release of SG Project Pro 5 for iPad because it would be the most powerful version available. Boy, am I glad I did!
SG Project Pro 5 is a dream to use. Super intuitive with a slick interface that's optimized for iOS 7. I thought I might need some video tutorials to learn how to use it (even emailed SG about it), but with a second look at the Sample Project, I realized it was not only a quick start guide, but all the tutorial I'd need.
I was able to put together a small project for class in very little time. There's virtually no learning curve, even for those who are new to project management. Reports are gorgeous, and effortless.
There are a couple bugs here and there. It can be a little slow at times, and it crashes occasionally (thus, I'm holding back a star), but overall it is a fantastic app!
