Brilliant

Brilliant app, can add and takeaway starts depending on childrenโ€™s behaviour, this is going to be amazing

Need to be able to share charts within families

I purchased this app with the intent that my family (linked through our Apple devices) would all be able to see the same information in the app. This is not the case. There is no login info, and hence no way to prompt the app to show the information within families. Only download this app if you ONLY want to be able to view the chart on one device!

Not for groups

In the description they said for group leaders. Iโ€™m a group leader wanting a reward chart for a group of kids. But you canโ€™t invite other people to your chart. Everyone would just have to buy and use their own. Not an accurate description.

Response from developer

The app allows the user to create star charts for groups of people. This is useful, for example, for parents to track chores for their kids, teachers to track rewards for their students etc. The description does not claim to allow sharing charts with other users.

itโ€™s great we like it

I love it Thanks for the app

Suggestions

I was planning to use this app to manage my classes. If my suggestions below can be considered as good ideas for the next update, it will be a great pleasure and help me to use this app for further semesters.
1. Synced webpage (or link or student version app) for kids to check their points
2. Extract function to convert charts to excel or pdf files

Response from developer

Thanks for your suggestions. Syncing with a web page or a separate app for student/children would be a truly staggering amount of work is very unlikely to happen, sorry. Exporting a chart's data is a great idea. I'll think about how that could possibly be implemented in the future.

Good concept

I am using this as a competition too for work to check progress. Good easy to use app just a shame the names canโ€™t get smaller so you can see more on the page! I only need 8 names but have to view it over two pages! It should be able to amend the font size to fit more on a page!

Simple and effective

I've been looking for a simple app to track chores and good behavior for my two daughters for months. Everything I have found until this app have been either overly-complicated or too narrow in focus (just specializing in chores for instance). The multiple chart option allows me to customize stars/points based on any category of work or behavior that I want and the simple interface makes on-the-go tracking a snap. My children redeem their stars for special treats or activities while others are redeemed for allowance. My only recommendation would be to make the decrement of stars as easy as the addition of stars without the extra steps of editing each category/kid with the super-sensitive slide rule style. Maybe also a custom star color option? Other than that, this app is exactly what I need!

4/1/17 - Updating this review to 5 stars with the new color-coding option and now that the +/- makes star count adjustment easier. Perfect app. Thanks for the updates!

Response from developer

And thanks for the suggestion for multiple colors - it's a great addition to the app.

Great app. Could be better also.

I really like using this app for my 5-8 beginning band students. Sharing info to other devices would be a very useful feature though. Considering that this is a paid app, it would be good if the app was capable of more.

Easy, looks good and great on phone and Apple Watch

Love a quick star chart for positive behavior management and this one is easy, customizable and has a great Apple Watch app. Excellent!

Great for teachers!!!

I use this app for several large group classes I teach & it's been insanely popular with the kids (ages 3-7). They BEG to be quizzed on material we've covered so they can earn 'points'! Love the 'bing' sound each point makes when you award them, which can be heard across the room & really excites everyone. :). Recent update allows for multiple charts, so I can use them for different classes. Awesome!
