Once the best, not so much anymore!
This was once the best instant messenger you could get for your phone (and well worth the price!) but it seems like every update comes with a brand new pile of issues. Now Skype is no longer supported and my messages (incoming and outgoing) are completely out of order. Some even date to 24 hours the following day, and they get stuck at the bottom of the chat window so I'm forced to either scroll through the mess or close/reopen the chat.
Officially won't be using this program again, it's gotten too ridiculous.

Skype Protocol Change
Trillian (a multi chat client for computer use, not phone) has also dropped Skype. I hope people realize that Shape is just complying with Microsoft’s change, and it is not their fault they had to drop it. That being said, I have been using IM+ since it was called IM+ Pro, not Pro7. I re-bought the app since they didn’t release it as an update. I’ve used Shape services for years, and Skype support was the main reason I bought this application. I’m very frustrated that it’s no longer supported.

Great app... I've had no problems with the paid version. I've installed it instead of messenger. And my battery life improved.

Skype doesn't work after update
My skype accounts don't work anymore after an update. Authentification failed. This affects my private and business one. Please fix this asap.

Does it's job
I ran through multiple apps before I hit this one. It's simple, and does the job efficiently. Seems to have a few minor connectivity issues, but otherwise I am very happy I took a chance on it!
Excellent App
I was fed up with Yahoo Messenger. Me and millions of other Yahoo Messenger Users.
I really like this app but have seen the bug where sometimes the keyboard just doesn't appear.
If I could add something to the wish list it would either be a built-in translator or the ability to copy from the messages to paste into a third party translator app. Not everyone I chat with speaks my language.

Great IM app
Great app, would be good if it could integrate with a few more apps e.g. Viber etc...

Love this app when it works; however, it doesn't work all the time. It goes from online to offline in a middle of a conversation. Edit: I bought this app for Skype IM but it rarely works. Also, I have been getting spam IMs from someone claiming to be the app developer asking me to click on a link. I blocked it, but just FYI do not click on links from strangers!

Skype doesn't work purchase at own risk
Got this app so I could talk to my Google and Skype contacts. However Skype just doesn't connect. I have done all the troubleshooting steps you'd expect, just errors. My account is no different to yours (you the reader of this review) so be aware that this feature is unlikely to function for you. It does connect on occasion but is intermittent and unstable. The error notifications happen frequently as it continues to try to connect and it keeps failing so expect a slight drain on your battery with this too. Basically, don't get this app if you want to use it with Skype because it is awful. Given an extra star because Google Talk at least works. 2/5.
